Time and neglect have leaked water in of this moldy room, which contains a few gnawed on animal bones amid puddles of water. In one corner, set into the floor, is a stack of crates on top of a heavy wooden trapdoor held shut with a chain and a padlock.

As Dr. Crow looks for a key, Briar investigates the egress for potential threats beyond the lock. If none are found, she will examine the lock itself to see if it is within her capabilities to unlock should no key be provided.

"It is not unusual for transformational afflictions to lead to madness, or unnatural cravings. We need to cautious and have a plan to subdue Doru if he becomes uncontrollable. I know it sounds strange but would any of you by any chance have some manacles? If not rope will do. All this assuming of course we can hold him long enough to apply restraints."

"We could try to knock him out, rather than kill him. He'd be a lot easier to restrain if he wasn't conscious?"

"I was thinking more like piling atop him (Grapple) until he can be properly subdued. That is how my assistants would handle aggressive patients."

After a few moments Jonah has all the boxes moved off of the trap door.

"I don't want to grab him if he's bite-y or heabutt-y," Jorah says with a shrug. "Does anyone know the sleep spell? That seems like a good option, but not in my repertoire."

"I might be able to stop him" Says Dr. Crow hesitantly, "but even so it will be for but a moment. Maybe long enough if we are prepared."
