Dr. Crow forgoes his attack and instead Hexes the Son, giving him disadvantage on Con saves, and then attempt to blind him with a word...

@Basil Few things.
If you Cast a Bonus Action Spell you can only cast a Cantrip afterwards not a Leveled one like Blindness/Deafness.
It goes the opposite way also. You can't Cast an Level Spell and then a Bonus Action Spell Afterwards.
Hex only Effects Checks not Saves.

The arrows and bolts pop out of the son's skin as his body quickly heals from the wounds.
The son charges into the Church's old double doors, slamming them open.
Flumbing blind outside he run straight into a large fearsome creature, a horse unlike any you've seen before. Its sleek, black coat seems to absorb the light, providing a stark contrast to the roaring flames that dance along its mane, tail, and hooves. As it rears up on its hind legs, the fire flares brighter, casting eerie shadows across the ground. The flames lick and flicker with a life of their own, as if the very essence of fire courses through this beast's veins. Its eyes burn with a fierce, fiery glow, an intense, almost sentient heat that radiates pure power and fury.

In an effort to help her friends in putting this chase to an end, Briar reaches out towards the fleeing son and flaming horse and mutters some few words. A burst of absinthe green sparks erupts in the air above the pair, raining down in bioluminescent spores around the two targets. Spell released, she darts out of the building to keep eyes upon their quarry as best she can.
OOC:
Action: DC 12 Dex save from pony and pony boy to avoid Faerie Fire.
Bonus action: dash out and fly up a bit to keep eyes on the terrain and figure out which way they run if they don’t get stopped
