The swarm of hungry for human flesh insects is dead; Couth is soiled with big bits, but everyone still lives.
Couth mumbles a few swears and rubs his leg where the insect bites are.
There are 3 paths for the party to choose. The path by the sleeping area, the path to the left of the lovely dining room, and the path to the south of the dining room.

After holstering her crossbow and surveying the situation, Briar produces a potion from one of her many belt pouches. She floats over to Couth with an outstretched palm. "I think you need this."

Once everyone got their bearing, Ashtar moved forward.

Alyria follows Ashtar suggestion forward. She reaches a 4 way intersection in the tunnel.
As she is looking around from the murky depths of the dungeon floor, three undead ghouls slither forth with unnerving speed, their decayed forms clad in tattered and muddy cultist robes. Their pallid, decaying flesh clings tightly to their skeletal frames, as if reluctant to leave the earth that birthed them. Jagged nails extend from their gnarled fingers, carving through the wet soil as they claw their way to the surface. Their sunken eyes gleam with hunger, fixating on any signs of life with a chilling intensity.

Ashtar jerked as Alyria calls out spotted danger, rushing to move forward and protect the others.

Seeing danger in every direction, Alyria bangs here shielded fist against her chainmail, eager to make sure she has their attention. With determination in her eyes, she withdraws her sword again. "Let us dance once again."

Eye of the Storm brought up his bow and arrow once more. It seemed they had found the parents and guests, or what was left of them after they enacted whatever unholy ritual they had attempted. By the moons, what had they hoped to achieve to have cursed their entire family so?

Ashtar wades through his companions to stand behind Alyria, and shoots at the creature straight ahead.

Briar quickly pulls her hand crossbow from its holster again, absentmindedly blurting out "Well putting this away was pointless!" and produces a bolt from her boot-lashed-quiver. She watches for her paladin friend's next move, ready to add to the assault once Alyria engages the attentions of one of the hideous creatures now coming from the shadows.

Pulling the arrow to his eye, the Tabaxi sighted down the hallway, his largest challenge not hitting one of his companions. But the arrow whistled sharply past them all to embed itself in his foe.

Her gaze sharpened as she looked between the three undead beings in each direction, waiting to see which one would reach her first. Sliding her body into a fighting stance, she remained loose and ready to slash her sword at whichever corpse would become the unlucky one. Watching them as they crept closer, she invoked, "May the gods shine down upon us this day. May Helm grant his protection, Ilmater his endurance, Tyr his justice, and most importantly, may Myrkul grant me his ability to slay those in my path."
