Chapter 10 - Is it a heist, if we bought it?

Quickly enough, two speeder skiffs arrive from the freight company. Each as a load-lifter in the back. In short order they've loaded the crates into the skiffs and you're speeding back to the office. Niic is there as you arrive at the back of the Lianna Light Freight office storage area.

As Niic closes the cargo door at the back of the office, he strolls to where you are unloading. "Not buy guys, eight of the twenty crates and the bill is pretty reasonable for the situation. Can't wait to starting sorting food trays and biscuit tins." Through the Sullustan's jowls, you think he's smiling.

Niic nods knowingly at your request. "Well, first we pop open these crates, use the scanner Reom provided to find the special gear and then you guys haul those bits back to Reom and cash out." A loud crash echo's through the storage area as the side of the first crate falls open. The loader lifter droids have begun opening them and sure enough, meal tray's spill out onto the ground.

Niic laughs at little at AD-hoc's question. "Ah, that's one of life's joys. I get to help the droids sort and repackage and label all the leftovers. We'll then find a way to sell it, helps maintain the cover that we're actually a freight company and not just a front. But believe me, if you see anything lying around while we're pulling the good bits out, feel free to grab it. It'll hardly make a dent in the resale value."

Niic takes Ken's question as an excuse to step back and let the droids do the sorting. "From what I got from Reom, you didn't leave any Yi-yar survivors from the trip beyond the rim. As best we can tell, one group left The Wheel and followed/raced you to the outer rim and never came back. The other group managed to follow Reom to his hide out on the trash planet. Where you were spotted flying a really similar looking ship to the one they lost. However, without a Transponder match or a close up exam, they're still guessing. My guess is that when they heard crates from the crash were coming up for sale, they wanted to see what they lost a ship for and if they could recoup something. Instead, they ended up locked up for a couple days, illegal entry, violence against a Security Officer, etc." Niic 'smiles', as best you can tell, under the Sullustans jowls.

Niic shifts his gaze over to Zailor, "It's probably sitting empty on the pad, surely Security would have clamped the landing gear and it might be locked, maybe."

At that moment a screeching sound comes from one of the crates. It looks like the droids have pulled an intact workbench from one of the crates. This could be cybernetics printing station that Reom was most interested in, if it works.

As you discuss your possible next actions, a few more pieces come out of the crates that trigger the scanner you were provided. Niic has one of the droids start loading the target goods into a separate crate.
