Chapter 1: The Commencement

"The extra copy is just for me," Xiordin says mildly, attempting to downplay his fanboying. "I have the creds for it."

The lashunta man grins, letting you transfer the credits before he hands over the albums, "Pleasure doing business with you fine folks," he says, turning to walk away.

Soryn nods to the man and takes the discs. "Let's get back with this right away," he suggests. He raises and eyebrow and smiles, handing Xiordin his copy.

Not long after, you head into the Starfinder headquarters and make your way down to the cortex to see Historia-7. She looks up with a bored expression when you enter, "I thought we were done?" she asks.

Xiordin is still itching to get back to his room and crank up the sound in a multidimensional sensory overload. He wonders what Historia-7 gets from these, being a being of primarily digital information. "An admirer had sent us with a gift. One that I think you will enjoy."

He steps aside so the others can present the album.

"We won't take more of your time, we only came to deliver this." Soryn steps forward and sets the album down before Historia-7. "We heard you are a fan. Enjoy," he says.

Sioux gives a little smile and nods.

Historia-7 takes the album hesitantly and looks at it for a moment with a blank expression, "It was Zigvigix, wasn't it?" she asks, then sighs, "That one is always doing things like this. Well... tell him thank you, I suppose. I will have to give it a listen when I have a spare minute."

You know your friends Sioux gives Historia-7 another nod of appriciation.
May you have a wonderful day. Then she goes outside

"We'll share your words," Soryn says with a smile before readying to leave with the others. "Let's get back to Zigvigix and make sure they have nothing else for us today," he suggests.

Xiordin grits his teeth, wondering if this was an elaborate prank by Zigvigix. An expensive one, for young Starfinders, who could have used the cred to equip themselves for more pressing adventures.

"After you listen, if you'd like to discuss the usage of subsonics to weave the illusion of melody as signal-to-noise loss, I'd be fascinated to hear your thoughts."

Historia-7 gives Xiordin a blank look for a few seconds, but then gives a slight nod in response to his statement, indicating that she might be willing to speak further on the subject.

A short time later, you find Zigvigix in the same place as before. He gives a happy clicking sound as you approach, "I have heard your work at the warehouse went well, yes?" he asks, cocking his head to the side, "And what about purchasing that album for Historia-7?"

The warehouse went well enough. We scared the creature off.
And Historia-7 got his gift. He guessed that you were the instigator. Sioux winks at Zigvigix

Xiordin quietly glowers. "She pretended to not be impressed with the album, but I suspect it was a ruse for propriety sake. She's probably fangirling like mad as we speak."

"I believe everything went well enough, yes. Was there some reason or motive to delivering the album to Historia-7 beyond kindness? I for one am happy to be of service, but must admit some difficulty in understanding why an entire group of Starfinders was requested for such a thing."

Zigvigix lets out a clicking laugh, "I thought she might realize it was me, but that's okay. I am hopeful that she will enjoy it."

Turning to Soryn, "Your question is fair, but there is no deep reason. The lingering damage to my leg makes it difficult for me to get around. When I heard that you were going to be making the rounds to assist us with whatever tasks we require, I thought it would be a good opportunity."

"I do have some things for you, as a token of my gratitude," he says, handing some items over, "My apologies for the lack of credits, but I hope you enjoy the grenades. Just don't blow yourselves up. I like you!"

Sioux eyes the granade, a strange gift, but she sees they and the armor fits Xiordin of Absalom. She just helps herself to 100 credits.

Out on the street she sends a quick message to Guidance through her wrist computer.
We have completed our task for Zigvigix

Xiordin takes the iridishell armor and the grenades, to carry and divide them up later, and thanks Zigvigix. "We'll put these to good use, thank you. Your task was kind, I think, to Historia-7 as mentioned, and noteworthy."

"A bit of kindness is always welcome to see and be a part of. Forgive my question, but from our prior mission I may be a bit mired in the mindset of espionage. This was...nice." He bows his head and takes his leave with the others.

"What do you think we'll be tasked with next? This has been quite the mixed bag."
