Finally I am able to connect, not every other day or so.
So Hix made an illusion of the bag over ther real one. The mephit is still here not bothering you as long as you stay on the forest treshold. What do you do ?

I thought the plan was to make the illusion some distance away from, so they leave the real backpack to get the fake one?

They'd probably noticed that and try to grab it, so I made an illusion on top of the backpack instead. That way they can take the backpack, but it will look like it's still there.

can Gray try and help lift the pack? or would he have to try and grab it on his own?

For Grey to help, he has to come as well, but yes he can, you won't be able to move it to the edge of the wood this turn so. It means if you try to move it your hands are not free and transporting the heavy backpack the two of you will be considered "off-guard" (-2 AC) if the mephit attacks.

Well, we have been stalled by the mephit for about a month now. Do y'all want to just knock it out so we can progress the story?

I think so yeah. I guess we can wait and see how it reacts, but I think we will have to at least knock it out.
