OOC:
Sorry if this was not clear, but I only needed to see a save throw to finish the narrative. Force is pulling only Throgin. The rest of you have no idea. I think to avoid such confusions I'll in future do half-narrative as secret note to player who is required to roll a saving throw.

So here is the complete narrative:
When Throgin steps into the tall hall you hear no sound and no movement yet some magical force is pulling Throgin forward into the hall.
The rest of you see Throgin suddenly puts his legs in front of him and expect him to fall on his back, yet he slowly steps back into the corridor as if a strong wind is pushing him away of the tunnel. He fall indeed on his back once back in tunnel.

It is only a second later that Throgin realise what just happened to him: it was his Half plate that was pulling him forward. He still feel it's pressure on the back.
OOC:
Now, what do you all do? Throgin feel like he would most probably be able to move through the hall resisting the pulling force.

OOC:
But we should somehow expect that if it would be Zean or someone else he/she would be pulled by the armor also? Or it strictly only works on Throgin ?
Apr 30, 2024 4:49 pm
OOC:
Yes you can expect that. I don't say you should though. Unless you try and even then - who knows, maybe that's one time effect per character. Magic is magical.

Throgin will walk deeper into Hall carefully looking for both the source of the pull and maybe a switch or something within.

OOC:
Correct me if I'm wrong, but Thorgin don't see in the dark and since everyone with light source is behind your any perception checks fail, though I would like to rule you are not totally blind outside light source, but you can barely make out two tunnels going south and north as well as the location of statue
Ignoring warning and suggestions to support him Thorgin moves into the hall again and this time fearlessly (or foolishly) moves forward. Now it is enough time for everyone to notice not just his armor seems to be attracted by the statue, but also his maul and he hand axes on his belt rise, pointing with the blades toward the statue. He seems to struggle to fight the pulling power.
Besides he is on the edge of the dim light.

OOC:
Now, you should expect any metal object is drawn to the statue. Athletics check for Thorgin is a DC 10. Would it be the same DC and would it also be at disadvantage for you - that's you may only guess. Most probably a person wearing nothing metal would be safe to move through.
What does everyone do?
May 1, 2024 6:48 am
Uncharacteristically, I move 5' further back and mutter something about fools and their pride, while looking around to ensure that nothing is in the way of me making a hasty retreat.

Ixion opted to remain in place and warn Throgin about what lay in the darkness before him.
May 1, 2024 1:03 pm
Throgin will fight his way to the south tunnel as soon as the pull stops he will light a torch.
May 1, 2024 4:52 pm
Throgin turns to the left and disappears from party sight, but you notice the light of a torch he fires up
OOC:
The rest in private

Throgin yells back at the others

Looks like this is a deadend, but there is something down the other hall. A fountain with three statues. I am going to look closer down here

He will then look deeper into the hall he is in.

OOC:
@valdattaMadun you are not yet in the hall with fountain. You are in the tunnel. To move to the hall with fountain roll another Athletics checks ( I narrate assuming you passed that) and I believe you will have to do two more rolls to get back to the party if.when you eventually do that. But for now:
Watching at the water and it's flow patters Throgin figures out fountain is run by magic rather than any natural effects. Also, the pitchers are placed in a way that would make is easy to drink the water pouring. As a matter of fact it is rather tempting to do so - although sun does not reach you and it is not as hot down here in the dungeon, the air is full of dust raised by your movement.
May 3, 2024 6:50 pm
OOC:
oh I totally meant looking at the dead end closer, not the fountain
May 3, 2024 7:03 pm
OOC:
Oh well "looking" is no investigation in my books, that's why I was confused. OK, let me narrate result of your investigation then
Throgin is surprised to see nothing interesting here.
As a matter of fact absence of dust in a tunnel dead end could only mean magical reasons for dust to avoid collecting on the floor of this dungeon.

OOC:
Actually wait, I'll take that roll of 20 for perception check for what I would assume to be most reasonable action - looking for hidden doors at the end of the tunnel
Throgin can't believe this is a dead end and takes a minute to check the far wall of the tunnel. Soon he find the wall is actually a hidden door - similar to one you found up there before entering tomb. The wall slides to the sides when pushed properly.
The doors open into the room you recognize - the one you killed 6 undeads just an hour ago

Throgin will yell back at the group Looks like there is a door back here leading to the front. Should I just try and come back around to you guys?
May 6, 2024 6:43 pm
Throgin makes it safe around back to the party and explain he saw a large fountain in a room to the North but didn't risk to look into the room and check if there are other corridors leading from that room. You can always return to that room later - you decide and move on.

You move back and around the balcony and enter the next wide but short tunnel: A giant stone skull crusted with moss juts out from the end of the passageway. A flame flickers within each of its eye sockets, and a view into a chamber beyond can be seen through its open jaws.
A stone sarcophagus stands at the center of the chamber you can see through the open jaws, its lid adorned with a coiled serpent carved in relief. Behind the sarcophagus, resting atop a marble pedestal, is an ornate crystal box with a small humanoid skull floating inside it.

OOC:
The skull's jaws are opened wide enough to allow a Medium or smaller creature to climb though.
A detect magic spell reveals an aura of transmutation magic around the skull. Vatoris informs you

I hope there's another entrance, I don't fancy going through that mouth.
