"Hey Vatoris, if I lock this magic rod in the right place, do you think you could grab it and swing over the corner of the pit and get in here?"

"Perhaps we should just use the door?" Ixion said with a smirk as an arcane arch appeared before him and Vatoris. If Vatoris isn't keen on going in, Ixion will go step through the doorway alone.

Vatoris steps through the doors with Ixion and answer Tinkara That could work, let's try on the way back
He then ritually identify one of the chests.

That's truly wonderful chest. Acererak is terrible evil, but he is a brilliant designer. The chest lid has adamantine clumps that opens when lid is closed and a live humanoid is inside a chest. Clumps prevent keys to be turned. Turning a key trigger two things: button to appear on sarcophagus and clumps to shut.

I'm afraid I can't tell what happens when button on sarcophagus is pressed - I didn't felt the magic aura and I can't seem to be able to identify sarcophagus, which obviously means it is protected against spells such spells. Vatoris is then asking if Zean could help him get up, pulling the rope.

"So what do we do now?" - Zean said while at work with pulling Vatoris up using help and rope.

"Or maybe it just means: we have to find some helpful humanoids than? " - Zean asked... knowing well enough that they would have to use some strong arguments probably to make them 'helpful'.
"Maybe those small creatures walking around in masks?"

With help of Tinkara and immovable rod he get back

"I think if we want to get in the sarcophagus, we need to put someone in the chests to turn the keys and make the buttons appear. Vatoris, we know what the iron chest does... I'd still like a dagger if someone can spare one... but what about the other two? Aside from locking, can you tell what kind of enchantment is on them, and what they might do to an occupant?"

Tinkara dear, I've explained all about chest mechanics already and I can't read what the sarcophagus buttons does.
Let me try to explain this on an example. Say want cut a monster with your dagger. And the monster try to read your mind, but your mind is protected against mind reading. Monster try to read your dagger - dagger is not protected, but dagger don't want to hurt anyone...
So here chest is the dagger, but sarcophagus is the host protected against mind reading...

More than willing to get out of this hole... Throgin says as he climbs up the rope.

He will then look at Tink and her dagger. Do we think that it is safe to bring our weapons into the chest or should I leave all my metal stuff out here?

"I suspect it was only the rusty iron chest that ate metal. The silver chest, with its frost, I would take blanket and cloak against cold, if no spells are available. The onyx... I'm afraid I have no idea."

I fly down to the sarcophagus and hover, ready to push the button as soon as it appears to minimize time in the chest.

Might as well do the one we have no idea from first Throgin then will jump into the Onxy chest.

"Throgin! Wait! Those clothes that are left there Suggests someone could become disintegrated in there! Don't close the lid!"

we got to try something let me take a chance and Throgin closes the lid

"I'm ready to push the button as soon as it appears, Throgin."

Muffled click sounds as the clamps around the key on the lid release.

In the now dark chest, Throgin takes a deep breath then turns the key

Throgin locks the chest with the key and chests is locked and clamps return to their positions.
Tinkara immediately push the onyx button that appears on sarcophagus
Destructive pulse of energy flow through Throgin's body.
