Chapter 2: Rotten Halls

"Strange... the lock seam to be open... could it be because we all wearing the masks? And the eyes don't register us? Very strange..." - Zean commented situation with the lock, then shifted his eyes on the remains of the creature:

"Hmmm... Tomb of 9 gods... you think it could be the remains of the monkey-like one?"

Laughing, I fly over to the sarcophagus and pick up the ring.

Apparently Throgin can't touch things.... he then looks and scowls at Vatoris a little.

He then watches Tinkara carefully as she picks up the ring.

Tinkara, As you touch the ring, the dust swirls into the shape of a small, feral, bear-like creature that billows toward you with a ghostly roar.A moment later Vatoris
Tinkara, you sure want to give that ring to me first to identify what it does. If there is any power word that activate the ring I will be able to tell that.

Vatoris, no offense, but I've had a rest and I'd rather get moving right now.

As the ghostly creature begins to roar, I throw back my arms and roar along with him, accepting this encounter with the divine as a blessing.

The dist start swirling around Tinkara as she roar. Then roar ends and the dust drop on the floor. Like nothing happened.

Closest corridor to the left turns left after half dozen steps turning into long dark corridor leading into a hall.
Ixion who see further than you in the dark shares what he see with you:

A rusting statue of a knight stands at the west end of this hall, gripping a large iron shield. Shards and flakes of rusted metal cover the floor around the statue's feet.

Throgin will wait for the others but insist on going first.

Ixion told the others what his enhanced vision saw, and opted to follow the Thunderfist to look for trouble lurking in the darkness.

I slip the ring on my finger with a smile. Then I fly up and follow at the back of the party.

When Throgin steps into the tall hall you hear no sound and no movement yet some magical force is pulling Throgin forward into the hall.
