Does all YouTube content have a region (b)lock? Or is that usually the case for professional musicians and such? The Yeah Yeah Yeahs are a New York-based band, active since 2000. So I imagine official videos (or audio) would be flagged as USA or North America or whatever.

I believe it's specifically music which gets blocked more often - some companies are notorious for blocking videos even for ten seconds of a track they own, so I imagine they're even worse with actual full music videos. And it's not even musicians themselves doing it, usually. Copyrights are tricky.

These werewolf head costume props are fantastic.

If you can find it, the Off With Your Head video is awesome (but disturbing too)!

Now that Kurumi managed to beat the wolves (barely —she needed at least a combo that round!), I think we should pair her up with someone. It’ll be Pix-Kurumi and Pira-Thundra, unless of course one of you tries not to pair up. Then I gotta pull something outta my @$$ go with Plan B.

Oh!!! I was ninja’d! Well, I’ll post later. Since Pira/Thundra are confirmed as pairing, it’s definitely Pix/Kurumi as the other pair.

Do I make a choice here?
@PhoenixScientist, nothing to choose yet. I didn’t realize Pira posted while I was fixing my typos, so… just me setting a scene before I pair people up.

If either Pira or Thundra chose not to pair with each other, I’d have randomized the pairings instead.

I’m working on a post so both pairs can get acquainted in a very-temporarily-safe environment.

Ooh, this is super interesting, actually. :0 I posted both posts simultaneously within one minute, which means that for you to see this post but not the in-character one you had to check it in a span of a few seconds it took for me to switch tabs and for the server to process the data. That's a really impressive coincidence. Ultra-ninjaed, you might say!

..Our characters uniting in pairs makes me want to ship them. :D

PS: also, fixing typos in posted posts? Relatable.

Haha! As GM, you don’t know how often I edit!!! (EDIT - because italicized text doesn’t appear when I edit.)

Gonna give your characters time to get on that ship meet before you find out who entered whose game.

It may be apparent from the description of the room with Metroid music, but the glitches put you (temporarily) in actual NES games.

Here is SF2010:

(Remember that year, when everyone was cybernetically enhanced and flying robots patrolled the streets?)

I love Thundra’s reaction to the floor!

You will be somewhere in Feet of Rage or Barbaric Commando soon, though. I don’t want to do a whole level in a real game (that probably only I have played), so this is just the transition.

By the way, you can make your character public, so we can all see it, if you hit the little red book in your "All Characters" page.

Thanks for the tip, @PhoenixScientist. Despite my figuring out how to code stuff, I’m still a GP noob. I bookmarked my PCs but left the book itself gray. All of my books are red now, including Missy Girl’s even though it’ll be a while before I voice her.

I’m going to push forward the Portal Area scene a little bit. I don’t want anyone to feel rushed though. I just have free time (my first class starts at 9:30) and it might be more aptly timed to reveal the glitch before Pira answers Thundra’s question.

So do you prefer petite, but still human-sized (or like Leaf from A Song of Ice and Fire/Game of Thrones)?

@FlyingSucculent To answer your question, Hero is for attacks and strength-based moves. Sprite is for magic and dexterity/agility-based moves.

Yeah. That idea. (I think.)
I'm not familiar with the series, just lore and mythology.
May 4, 2024 2:33 am
Leaf is child-sized… like 3 or 4 feet.

If you prefer human-size or child-size rather than doll-size, it’s fine. You still are physically weak and good at dodging, so I would suggest no taller than 4’11" (1.5m) tall. Your avatar looks thin as a rail, which is a good build for a tall fairy.

I’ll edit the scene so your fairy is petite, but not tiny. When you mentioned Tinkerbelle being 7", I took that to mean Pix is 7" tall.

Sounds good.
We know we're in games? Or do we see them as different "lands"?
May 4, 2024 2:40 am
Updated. (White text in that post that was all rainbow text.)

IC, you’re from different ‘lands.’

I just wasn't sure if an attack against an inanimate non-opponent object would count as an attack, since some systems do separate them. Good to know for the future, thanks! :D
