@nezzeraj You told me about a way to shorten images. I forgot the command. What was it again?
May 15, 2024 11:15 pm
By "shorten" do you mean resize? There's a forum post here all about image resizing: image resizing

@Furmyr Pathfinder 1e spells were iconic and derived very much from the D&D 3.5e OGL which meant that spells belonged to the schools of magic. It's only recently, after the remaster release, that schools are not a thing anymore. However, Savage Worlds Pathfinder is modelled after the Pathfinder 1e and hence schools are a thing in magic here. But, there is a unique freedom about designing magic your way by applying the 'Trappings' rule of Savage Worlds magic system. So, I have a question regarding trappings. How far are you willing to be flexible about trappings? Can I design trappings on my own, trying to categorise them under the schools? For example, I have taken Entangle spell and given it a trapping 'chains from other realms'. So, I am envisioning that the spell will draw a summoning circle on the ground and living chains will comeout out of the circle and snap and bind the target for the duration. Can this trapping be done? Or do you want to stick to the trappings given in the book, the glue and the vine. Although in the spell description, they suggest other trappings, like ice. For my trapping description, it will become conjuration rather than transmutation but it is upto you to decide.

I do love that flavor. I think the spells in the schools of magic is a game balancing effect. Almost every power could be flavored to someone's school of magic. It is however not one of your opposed school's spells, so I will allow it for now. If it turns out to be overpowered we can always reign in later.

Hey man, thanks! I mean, this spell of chains can't be overpowered because it doesn't have any damage associated with it. Just like the spell description says the chains will have hardness 8, which can be broken.

Hey all, just fyi, I'll be out of town for two weeks starting tomorrow, so responses may be a bit slow, but will try and post in the evenings.

OOC:
Where is Rusty Dragon inn? Anywhere near Cathedral, maybe? As I promised to go there, but it would be unthematic for Li to put this above his lead towards Misaki?

Here is a list of the locations named so far.
1. Sandpoint Cathedral
8. Sage (Brodert Quink)

Here's a short video showing hagfish slime by the way: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=t5PGZRxhAyU

Thanks for the locations! Very handy!

Lol... the fish is interesting, Li will certainly not go into the competition of drinking something like this!!! :)

Wess doesn't intend to drink the slime juice, but, unfortunately, he can easily be goaded into it. I'm starting to think these Hindrances might be a hindrance.

I was well aware of hagfish (I used to work for a marine science agency), which is why Saldrina declined to participate in the challenge.
