@Furmyr Pathfinder 1e spells were iconic and derived very much from the D&D 3.5e OGL which meant that spells belonged to the schools of magic. It's only recently, after the remaster release, that schools are not a thing anymore. However, Savage Worlds Pathfinder is modelled after the Pathfinder 1e and hence schools are a thing in magic here. But, there is a unique freedom about designing magic your way by applying the 'Trappings' rule of Savage Worlds magic system. So, I have a question regarding trappings. How far are you willing to be flexible about trappings? Can I design trappings on my own, trying to categorise them under the schools? For example, I have taken Entangle spell and given it a trapping 'chains from other realms'. So, I am envisioning that the spell will draw a summoning circle on the ground and living chains will comeout out of the circle and snap and bind the target for the duration. Can this trapping be done? Or do you want to stick to the trappings given in the book, the glue and the vine. Although in the spell description, they suggest other trappings, like ice. For my trapping description, it will become conjuration rather than transmutation but it is upto you to decide.
