Argos seems good to me, but valdatta gets the final say

Argos sounds perfect.

Take some of this stuff off my hands! :P
Everyone gets these...
Acid (vial)
Alchemist's Fire (flask)
Antitoxin
Holy Water
Potion of Healing

What about common magic items? Can we buy them?
I'm trying to get rid of stuff but also seeing about getting more stuff. I hate late stage capitalism.

I am not carrying your stuff. Lol

I bought it for everybody. :P

I am saying no to common magic items except for one off exceptions like how someone wanted a ruby of the war mage. If I allow common magic items, most people will spend all of it on potions of healing, which are technically common

I have 6000 of my own coin to spend. 🤷

Well, I tried. No gifts for other.
No common items, fair.

I assume my PC wasted 6000 earning Piety through "Aiding the weak" . Well let's say 5000 and rest invested in revivify/restoration consumable spell components

Note: I've just updated my spell list as I realized some spells I've picked are not allowed for my druid.

It's a nice thought, and in most games it would be fantastic -- but with so much gold and no ability to buy common magic items we all have no real place to spend it.

How many pitons do we really need? Lol

Maybe we can petition our GM to allow one of us to have one extra rare magic item - specifically a Heward's Handy Haversack? (Or even a Bag of Holding.)

If this weren't a one-shot, but a campaign, i'd probably be more allowing of common magic items and such, but seeing as this is a one shot and there are 6 of you and I'm already probably not going to remember what 3 magic items you all have already, i'm trying to keep it simple on myself. If this had been a campaign that led to this, you'd probably have more magic items than 2 uncommon and 1 rare, but I'm choosing simple but still a little generous over extremely generous and hard on myself to manage.

Yay for Revivify!

Perfectly reasonable, 42.

@runekyndig I just realized the text for the poison doesn't mention ending the poisoned condition early on a repeat save. I think it is very unlike D&D 5e to say "you failed one save from a poison and now you are poisoned for 1 hour and blinded", so i'm going to rule that it can repeat the save at the end of each of its turns. Any questions or concerns?

To be fair... 5E has plenty of save or suck mechanics.

I'm more concerned that Malice is an inhaled poison, not an injury poison... coating your arrows with a gas wouldn't work.

Not at all - kind of expected the same. To be honest I think posions in d&d have a lot of room for improvement, but since I had the budget to go nuts, I did

True it is in inhaled poison.
[ +- ] Inhaled
It sounds like it is a smoke, and the idea is you would either open the vial and it would fill a square within reach or maybe throw it and when smashed it would fill the square it broke in. Neither sound like it is arrow friendly.

For the record no spell components needed to revivify Kelnes. Zealot Barbarian is excited to zealot barbarian

Fåck! I missed that bit. I'm going to pick a different poison then. Using poison is the only reason for me to use a bow

Purple Worm!!!!
May 14, 2024 7:19 pm
I'm going with

Wyvern Poison
DMG p258 Adventuring gear, poison (injury)
1,200 gp
This poison must be harvested from a dead or incapacitated wyvern. A creature subjected to this poison must make a DC 15 Constitution saving throw, taking 24 (7d6) poison damage on a failed save, or half as much damage on a successful one.
