[ +- ] Rules for attacking invisible creatures

Jaware and Iseret act as soon as the creature attacks, unsure if it has moved since it attacked. Iseret's blow lands, harming the creature. Jaware's shots both miss.

It continues to savage Iseret... doing 7 points of damage.

Qralloq sent a note to Qralloq

Tabat and Khadi are up, then Iseret and Jaware again. If you attempt to attack it, indicate where you're attacking in your post.

Creature has taken 8 damage so far.

Crap. There wasn't much she could do here against and invisible enemy... except keep everyone else healthy enough to try and take it down. 'Khepri guide my friends' She prays and the familiar feeling of the Bless spell settles over the others.

As I understand currently Iseret is down by 7 and thats it?
Edit: I Forgot to remind of bless, everyone gets a +1 to their attacks

Still with his khopesh and shield out, Tabat takes a swing in the empty space near Iseret, from where Tabat seems to think the attack came from.

Iseret waits for another attack to come against one of them. When it does, she attacks the area where the attack came from.

Jaware similarly prepares an action, waiting for someone to get stabbed then firing at the likely position of an attacker.

The Invisible Stalker strikes again, this time with more accuracy. Iseret takes 20 damage.

Iseret swipes at the place, but hits only air.

Jaware fires, and also misses with both shots.

Khadi and Tabat are up, then Iseret and Jaware.

"Agh!" Tabat exclaims, "Enough of this!" He taps Iseret on the shoulder. "May Horace guide you, my friend - let's find a different way to approach this." He takes a step back and calls upon his innate magic to transform his body. His body shifts under his armor as his skin sprouts fur. A moment later, whiskers poke out the sides of his mask as his transformation into a feline humanoid is complete. He sniffs at the air.

OOC:

Swift Action to Lay on Hands for Iseret, then 5ft step away, and cast Alter Self on himself. Transforming into a Catfolk w/ the scent ability.

That's roughly how I thought it worked. Knew the 50% miss chance still applies, but I need some kind of edge here. Where's glitterdust when you need it? :D

Going to roll diplomacy, but realise it may take a few turns for this to work, if at all.

She has -A blossoming light adds half her level on Diplomacy checks against good creatures or to convince an evil creature to take an action against its evil nature.

Though tbh don't think it applies here

The creature hisses in Common, "Intruders must die." It doesn't attack right away, and instead you feel it's invisible eyes upon you.

When it speaks again, it's voice comes from somewhere else, clearly moving as it examines you. "Do you have a pass?"
