"You know, unless they can replicate the cream I don't see how this benefits them anyway," Jorah says with a shrug. "Think the wife assumes she can handle it because she knows poisons?"

The young man lounged against the wall in a way that made it look downright comfortable as he watched people wander back and forth about their day. Without looking to the two he had been travelling with, he voices the obvious question: "Or do we assume the husband intends to "Ironhand" the formula out of the apothecary?"

"Given the Blackthorn reputation I would wager the transaction will not go as smoothly as the seller would expect."

"Perhaps we can find a way to make that work in our favor"

"I guess I'm just curious what the Blackthorns think they can accomplish. They can't really think they can produce it," Jorah's voice conveys his disbelief.

"Ooh! Maybe they're going to kidnap the creator and force him to churn out his salve for them to sell?"

"And if we manage a rescue…maybe he would feel obligated to us in some way"

Jerinvar listened to the conversation. Instead of injecting more conjecture, he instead moved to discussing a plan of action:

"Where do you think the best place is for us to create our own ambush so that we might improve our chances of succeeding in this 'rescue'?

"Well we would need to know the route they intend on taking when they leave before we could stage an ambush. Regardless, right now we have no idea what their plan is. Only assumptions unless we can get more intel."

"It's a coin flip" says "Dr Crow. "If they plan on a kidnapping they could either take the gnome back to his lab...or they can take him to their Lair, assuming they do abduct him."

" I can send Bela to spy on them invisibly and monitor whats going on. Based on that, we decide on what to do next. I say lets not commit to a one path or the other, but wait and see. Hide out at a middle point and be prepared to move quickly once we have something solid to move on."

Jorah shrugs. "Honestly? I don't like it. You're assuming they intend to kidnap him. If they're just going to beat the formula out of him then kill him, we need to be close. Or hell," Jorah continues, pushing himself off his spot on the wall, "they may intend to kill him and steal the salve or whatever, because they assume they can figure it out."

Jorah pauses, his eyes following a very pretty elven woman as she walks by.

"Anyway, I just think we need to be close. We may not have time to cover any real distance. And we wouldn't know we didn't have time until we didn't have time."

"Well we cant be everywhere all at once...Bela can cause a distraction long enough for us to get there if it comes to that."

"I think I'll still be at the tower, since that seems like the meeting spot."

"If you are settled on the tower, then I will join you"

Jerinvar didn't involve himself in the bebate had by Jorah and the good Doctor, but rather allowed them to work through their disagreemwnt as to the better plan of action.

"The tower is as good a place as any, and it seems a centerpiece to their place of meeting so only makes sense that it would be their place of meeting."

"It’s settled then. I will send Bela ahead to find us a way in and a hiding place"

Jerinvar nodded in agreement to the doctor's plan, and added, "Once we are in place I can send Fauntleroy to observe one approach direction and Bela can observe the other. Fauntleroy may not be able to turn invisible like Bela, but as an owl he'll be just as invisible, even put in the open.
