Both Bella and Dr. Crow understand that a fiend is rarely welcome. Therefore by default she remains invisible. When scouting as in moving invisible Raven form. When trying to get closer a really small invisible spider….
In this case, Invisible Raven form, land and then get close as an invisible spider. Watch, Listen and stay close.
From the conversation, sounds like we may have killed he gnomes familiar, from the brutes concern…Dr. Crow wonders if the woman has a health condition… The spider gets closer so the Dr can get a better look and maybe make a diagnosis.
Insight checks to get the emotional state of the duo. Is he concerned about her welfare? Is she worried
that maybe the gnome wont show?
Medicine check to see if there are any clues with on the woman’s health.
Bella also has insight skill

I haven't posted because I don't see there being much Jerinvar can do right now. I'm not even sure what Jerinvar is aware of in relation to the attack of one familiar upon another and the 2 people on the northern side of the map?

The Blackthorns continue to wait and complain. A plain bluebird flies over and lands by the Blackthorns.
The bluebird's mouth opens and a human's voice come out. "Good evening, Blackthorns. Deals off. Another party is lurking. They ruined the Deal. Best of luck with your endeavors. Good Day."

Jerinvar let's out an audible sigh. The night seems to have been a bust. At least it hadn't rained. The elf let's his mind reach out to Fauntleroy and instructs him to return to him. He then turns to Jorah and inquires: "So, shall we go meet up with the good doctor and call it a night?"

The group, feeling frustrated and disappointed that the exchange did not go as planned, heads back towards town. As they stroll through the woods, a thick, dense fog rolls in and surrounds them. Inside the fog, they can see only a few feet ahead. Ghostly images swirl within the mist, their forms flickering in and out of view, creating an eerie, unsettling atmosphere. In the distance, a lone wolf's howl pierces the silence, its mournful cry echoing from the direction the group is heading, adding to the sense of foreboding that hangs heavy in the air.

Jerinvar does not like this change in the night and becomes very alert to his surroundings. Could this fog be a magical construct made by those whose plans of a business deal this evening were disrupted...which was likely due to having discovered their 'hidden' presence.
He reaches out to Fauntleroy and instructs him to fly above the fog to see what possible threats he can see. And with that, the owl gained altitude in order to seek answers for his master.

Fauntleroy files higher and higher but the fog does not end. The higher the Owl flies the thicker the fog gets and the harder it is for it it to fly.
The group keeps heading towards town the fog growing thicker around them. The piecing howl of more wolves fill the air. The sound comes from all sides but behind you. A low growling fills the fog around you. Something is close but the fog is too dense to see...

Exhaustion is measured in six levels. An effect can give a creature one or more levels of exhaustion, as specified in the effect's description.
Level Effect
1 Disadvantage on ability checks
2 Speed halved
3 Disadvantage on attack rolls and saving throws
4 Hit point maximum halved
5 Speed reduced to 0
6 Death
If an already exhausted creature suffers another effect that causes exhaustion, its current level of exhaustion increases by the amount specified in the effect's description.
A creature suffers the effect of its current level of exhaustion as well as all lower levels. For example, a creature suffering level 2 exhaustion has its speed halved and has disadvantage on ability checks.
An effect that removes exhaustion reduces its level as specified in the effect's description, with all exhaustion effects ending if a creature's exhaustion level is reduced below 1.
Finishing a long rest reduces a creature's exhaustion level by 1, provided that the creature has also ingested some food and drink. Also, being raised from the dead reduces a creature's exhaustion level by 1.
Dr. Crow suspects the wolves are trying to herd or lead the party in a specific direction. The howls and growls grow louder and closer, the cacophony of wolves steadily increasing.
