Greeting fellow gamers,
I started playing TTRPG back in 1979 with The Fantasy trip and Wizard. Played a bunch of D&D, through the '80ies and then had kids and coached minor sports and life got in the way of playing regular RPG's. In the last 10 years or so, I started playing again with a new group online. I have played 5e, Dragonbane, Edge of Empire, 13th age and some Index Card RPG. I have read 5 Torches Deep, Easy D6, and DCC.
It's still hard to get a into regular game with a consistent group. When I stumbled a you tube video a few weeks ago talking about a play by post and it pointed me here, I thought that it might be a place I would like.
Over the years, I have pretty much exclusively played fighters. So I am thinking this forum would allow me the time to try new classes because I would have more time to think about my mechanical actions.
Anyway, this old dog, is looking to learn a new trick or two.
