You might also be interested in looking through some public games as well to get a feel for the site.

To join a game, keep your eyes on the Games Tavern, where GMs advertise their games and look for players.

Wow, this is a welcoming group!
Well, it might take me a while to start gaming here. With four alpha males in the group, I never get to GM, so I'm mostly looking to try that. More precisely, to try doing it for a game longer that a few encounters. So, I'm gonna look around, gather my courage, and then come up with something that hopefully catches the interest of the people here.
