Basil says:
Chiron saves with Ring +1
I included the +1 for you. Chironides has a +1 dex save, and I put +2
Jul 15, 2024 1:27 pm
Chironides manages to land 1 solid blow but the other two couldn't connect with anything but scales too hard to harm.
Jul 15, 2024 1:37 pm
Dohhh! Probably will not matter but also advantage on dex saves when hasted!
OOC:
DM Edit: Nope, see below. It was only 4 damage, though.

Rolls

Chironides: Dexterity save DC 19 - (1d20+2)

(14) + 2 = 16

Jul 15, 2024 1:54 pm
OOC:
Using Pious to reroll the failed save, trying to avoid poisoning.

Damn. Oh well.
Kadmos continues to attack the worshipper in front of him.

You have disadvantage on dex saves while restrained, so nothing changed. with your aura and luck stone, the result would have been an 18, which is just barely still a failure.

Worshiper of Hythonia

Worshiper of Hythonia

Kadmos lands 2 good slashes, though the first was blocked by the warrior's claws.

The three warriors are well aware that their lives are about to end, but their zealous fury continues on.

WoH1 attempts to strike Kadmos as before. Everything is blocked, though Kadmos is forced to use magic to protect himself if he doesn't want to be hurt by a vicious bite.

WoH2, who is restraining Kelnes, follows up on him with all of his attacks. Each and every attack lands, though aside from the poison in the bite Kelnes resists the damage.

WoH3, feeling the resonance from the thunder gauntlet earlier, decides to go for Omeros, not aware of the armor. Omeros is protected by the disadvantage, though in the long run Omeros may have preferred to be hit as it would have killed the warrior.
OOC:
Summary:
Kelnes takes:
- Bludgeoning: 13, 6 (reduced to 6 and 3 by resistance)
- Poison: 12
- Slashing: 12 (reduced to 6 by resistance)

Seeing Kelnes retrained Isaiah turn archer Constellation and unleash all of his power to WoH2, ordering elemental to do the same
OOC:
Move O23 and attack WoH2 with luminous arrow and thorn whip. Can't move him though I believe due to pillar

Isaiah forecasted enemy move so his luminous arrow last moment is fired a bit different
OOC:
Reaction:
Will try to improve luminous arrow to hit from 12 to something better by adding 1d6
[ +- ] Cosmic Omen

Rolls

Add to luminous arrow hit - (1d6)

(2) = 2

Jul 15, 2024 6:33 pm
The luminous arrow is deflected by the creature's hard claws, but the thorn whip leaves a gashing wound. the elemental follows up, knocking the worshiper of hythonia out cold with its next to last attack. spinning around and delivering the last attack to the other enemy within range, it turns out that warrior was barely holding on and is knocked out as well.
OOC:
I'm just going to assume that if the elemental knocked the first enemy out with the 2nd attack that you would tell it to make the 3rd attack against the other enemy.

A 14 to hit would still miss, sadly, but as you see above it all worked out.
Jul 15, 2024 6:38 pm
Kelnes moves to O26 after being released by the now knocked out worshiper. Then prepares for further attacks
OOC:
Move next to the ranger to give him my Aura benefits. Then taking the dodge action.

thankfully I took damage so my rage doesn't drop

You say O26, but also next to the ranger. O26 is pretty far from the ranger. Where did you want to go? Keep in mind that allies and corpses are difficult terrain.
Jul 15, 2024 6:48 pm
OOC:
Thanks, yes indeed I positioned AE in between enemies just in case that happened.
P.S. I have 5 more Cosmic Omens - totally forgot about them. Will try to keep rolling them as I regain my reaction

5 more? You should have 4 more, unless I forgot a approved a magic item to increase your proficiency bonus. I now a lot of newer options have language where if something doesn't change a failure to a success, you don't expend it, but I think this doesn't have that language.

OOC:
I meant O21 not sure why I said 26. Hope that helps, I guess I can get to O22 with the difficult terrain? Or is my standing long jump big enough to "jump" over the dead enemy just using movement? seems like that could work:
[ +- ] Movement idea
If that plan doesn't work or requires check (I can roll for the atheltics check, though I have advantage raging and a +10 so leave that up to you)
[ +- ] Standing Long jump PHB/Jump where heights matter

OOC:
Typo. It's 4 more indeed. Actually I didn't care to count - don't believe I can spend even 4. It consumes reaction that comes once per round.

I don't believe you can use the jumping rules to overcome the corpse as difficult terrain. if you were under the effect of something like the jump spell, it may be a different story. A large creature is still fairly tall when fallen over. You can make it to 022. I'll move you there and have you take the dodge action like you said.

Just waiting on Omeros now.

Weakened though he was, Omeros slashed the blinding blade of Invictus twice at the remaining serpentine sycophant next to him!
OOC:
Trying this fancy attack script.
OOC:
Atrocious rolls.

The 2 next to you are both dead. Did you want to move next to Kadmos and do that on WoH1? You have just enough speed
Jul 16, 2024 1:53 pm

Yeah, for all the good it'll do. :( :P
OOC:
I guess it did do good. :D
