Silene you can use your glass shield reaction, blocking some damage and exploding. She is currently immobilized, but can attempt an escape to be free

Octavius is up.
Octavius can use reactive strike on the fleeing bandit, (on Akiros on Dovan if your fighting with your glaive)

Octavius offhandedly lashes out towards the cowardly Bandit Clear, but his focus is more on the greasy toad Dorvan from Nisroch.
[total 16 on the roll]

He will turn to him and say, "Well then, you have my attention fully now" [intimidate], shift his stance so that he may Parry with his Main Gauche [+1AC] and then lay into him with a lunge of his short sword.

Intimidate: 26 total
Attack: 21 total

Linzi, again casts a healing spell on herself while singing defiantly from the tower.

Harrim plods ahead to flank Dovan and then channels his divine angst in the air above the greasy bandit.

Valerie stride forward to attempt to free Silene from the bloody aggressive bandit, with a grazing hit the angry man releases Silene and falls to the ground. Then raises her shield to protect the pincushioned elf.

The Red Bandana bandit throws down his longbow to draw his sword. "For Leeyroooy!" he shoots as he enters the melee.

Dovan uses the distraction to throw some deceptive blows to the stout dwarf before forming up with the new bandit. Dispite the greasy bandits smarminess, he cannot over come the feeling of dread emanating from dwarf.

From the main room you hear yelling "No! Stop! I am your master! Obey my com-". The drunken rant in interrupted by a loud roar, followed by a crashing. Moments latter an Owlbear emerges from the debilitated fort and lets loose a blood curdling scream.

The bandits are noticeable perturbed by the beast. The bandit that was fleeing increases his pace muttering "Oh he didn't, why is his such a fool..."

Unassumingly, Filbert also emerges from the bandit fort and scampers back towards Silene. He seems to be carrying a lump of grass woven into what looks like a saddle.

Dalia & Silene steel themselves against the massive beast.

Your adventurer companions seem to have similar resolve, particular Harrim who is unfazed. The bandits are notably rattled.
OOC:
Dalia: Linzi's song give +1 to saves vs fear, your first attempt is a success! Still use a hero point?

Dalia & Silene: You succeed, you are merely Frightened 1.
Dec 15, 2024 9:16 pm
Octavius Will Save...no he will not. [rolled a 4] He becomes painfully aware that his shield is up on the platform beside his crossbow, and a main gauche is a poor substitute against such a beast.

Never the less, Octavius shall finish what he started, return his focus to Dorvan from Nivroch, observing "Your master's beast is free and angry, I wonder how it feels about you" [Intimidate-nope rolled 9 total], Shove him towards the beast [Shove-shit the bed on that total 8], and then try a second time at giving the owlbear something other than us to play with [Shove again-total 19].
Dec 16, 2024 4:42 am
OOC:
no if my first one passed i would not use the hero point at this time
Dec 16, 2024 8:35 pm
As Octavius shoves the frightened bandit leader towards the enraged beast, Linzi shouts a very loud joke at Dovan before breaking into a song about teamwork. Dovan for his part bursts into unexpected, unstopping laughter.
OOC:
Octavius is now Frightened 1 (Was 2, but -1 on at end of turn)
Linzi A1-2: Laughing Fit, A3: Courageous Anthem
