"You made the situation worse while I was away?" Nightcrawler returned to find that while the mooks had been knocked out, their plane was also now beyond redemption, even though they managed to bring it back level. "Remind me not to take the elevator with any of you!" Kurt began to bamf the unconscious goons over, leaving Cyclops to tie them up. He did it as quickly as he could, in case the plane began to fail again, leaving a stronger and stronger whiff of brimstone in the compressed air.

"That's it from me!" Kurt slumped back into one of the jet's seats, too exhausted to do anything else.

"Well, how do we wanna play dis? I found some parachutes if we want to escape dat way or we can stay and see where dis goes?"

With the soldiers gone, Gambit lounges in the pilot's empty seat and twirls his retracted bo staff.

Back on the X-Jet, Jubilee takes a better look at their new mutant friend.

"Hey there, I'm Jubilee. Well, it's actually 'Jubilation Lee' on paper, but that's kind of a mouthful. What's your name?"

"C’mon." Logan grunts to the lounging Gambit.

"Lets set this place to blow and get gone. Best hope none of these goons decided to use the bathroom before we arrived." he goes on, allowing himself a smirk.

"One hell of a surprise to come back to, eh?" he laughs, getting ready to cling to Nightcrawler along with Gambit on the last bamf out!

"I'll leaving the interrogation to the rest of you. Whew! And also, who is the person that we saved?"

Gambit gets up to stretch and puts his bo staff away. He puts both his hands on the controls, concentrating on powering up the control panel enough to explode and force the plane to dive into the water. As Nightcrawler teleports the soldiers and X-Men back, he finishes up by delaying the explosion for a few seconds after they return to the Blackbird. He rushes over to Wolverine and Nightcrawler and gives them a grin and a nod.

"Let's not wait around here!"

Back in the Blackbird, everyone is gathered around their rescued victim. She's a young woman with long blond hair and green eyes. She has an inhibitor collar commonly used on mutants. "Mmphh hmpphh mmmmpphhhm mmohgghhmmm," she says through her gag. She's pointing to her leg that was shot with the purple beam. The jeans there are blacked and burnt revealing red skin underneath.

"Oh, sorry, let me get that for you."

Jubilee takes off the mutant's gag and collar, and looks around for a med kit for her leg.

Jubilee finds a medkit behind the pilot's seat. The woman nods her thanks and licks her chapped lips that have been chaffed by the gag. "Thank you. Are you really the X-Men? I'm Hannah. Hannah Loachview."

"We sure are, Hannah," Cyclops says with as much warmth as he can manage - not his strong suit. "How did the Friends of Humanity capture you? Were there any other mutants with you?"

She shakes her head. "No others. I was coming home from a late class at my university. I was waiting for the bus and there were a few other people. I never expected to be attacked with other people around, but they were all in on it. One minute I was looking over some notes on the bus bench, the next I was on the ground and they clamped a collar on me and zip-tied my hands. When I could think straight I realized they had a stun gun. Assholes just stunned me and went to work. A van pulled up a few moments later and they threw me in the back. I learned later overhearing them that they had been waiting for me. They are collecting low-level or newly awoken mutants one at a time and shipping them off to some island for 'testing.' I think they called it 'Saint Clairveux' or 'Claireux' or something like that."

"Testing." Wolverine snarls through gritted teeth, as he stands over the rescued mutant.

"Hell of a lot of goons for one of us. What were they so worried about?" he asks, wondering what kind of powers she had that meant a whole plane-ful of creeps had to take her down.

"You are safe with us now." Nightcrawler assured Hannah. "We can contact your family to let them know you're okay. You are safer with us for the time being."

"Thank you, they are probably worried sick about me." She faces Wolverine. "Not worried, I don't think, just relocating maybe. I'm not sure but I don't think they were all just for me. It's a long flight so my best guess is they have to be economical and just take as many over per trip as they can. I'm not that powerful..." she says with some embarrassment having guessed Wolverine's unstated meaning.

"You just need a little training, that’s all." Logan speaks gruffly, but being as sensitive as he can. It was true, most likely.

"How long is long? Or do I need to ask the help over here?" he asks her, willing to give one of these goons a knuckle sandwich as payment for the info they needed.

"Did anyone get the readings off that plane's destination?" Scott asks, knowing it's unlikely.
