Cyke tries to figure out the gauntlet, too. "Any gems on these things?"

Jubilee tilts her head as she fails to comprehend the device's workings. Like, how does a glove make it so you can shoot lasers out of your eyes?

"Well, we can always have Furball look at it later. For now, let's get to the bottom of this before whoever's responsible makes an escape!"

"Shoot first, ask questions later! I bet one of these goons will spill their guts in return for me going a little easy on them! Let’s go!" Logan remarks, before springing off after the rest of their foes!

"They're designed specifically to hurt us, we have to destroy the rest of these. This means we need to reach Dr Strain and put a stop to his lab. Let's go after the two escaping ones!"

Gambit follows his fellow X-Men to pursue the people that stole their powers to the largest building on the island, just north of them. He keeps his bo staff ready and tries to power it up, but his kinetic powers truly seem to be drained for now.

"Dis doctor is overdue for his own check-up. Let's go!"

With Remy giving the rousing speech, Scott pumps a fist and follows.

"Yeah, only I get to go 'paf'!"

Jubilee joins the pursuit.

"Don’t even think about it!" Wolverine calls to Nightcrawler, as the whole crew gives chase!

"We do this together!" he grunts! They might need Nightcrawler’s powers again before long. They couldn’t risk losing them!

Wolverine gets ready to cut through the door as they give chase!

In their haste, the FoH members forgot to close the doors behind them...or did they?

Wolverine musters as much speed as he can manage, and rams right into the door at full tilt!

As soon as Wolverine busts through the door, Jubilee musters whatever fireworks she still can and lobs them into the opening like a flashbang in order to blind anybody inside.

Nightcrawler held off bamfing into the unexplored building when he heard Logan call out a moment of caution. It made sense to let the one who was the best at what he did charge in first. The elf looked to see if he could spy through the open doorway, for if he could see a strategically advantageous point to materialise at, such as deeper into the room, or even better, nearer to whatever or whomever looked of importance, he could close the distance faster!

Gambit follows along, ready to leap over anyone standing in their way with his bo staff if need be.

"You've got dis Wolvie, maybe we should make our own entrance instead of takin' deres."

The door remains open as Wolverine barrels through the opening and into the large hangar. All is pitch black inside until some of Jubilee's fireworks provide brief but colorful illumination. Wolverine gets a quick flash of a giant engineering laboratory, all workbenches and machine parts and wires. There are a few people scurrying behind a row of workbenches before the light fades. With his heightened smell, Wolverine can tell there are a few humans in here, and also the overwhelming smell of oil and metal and ozone. Once everyone follows there is the sound of machines whirring and the rear door begins sliding shut!

Gambit follows behind the other X-Men, trying to use his hearing to locate potential dangers in the dark hangar.

Jubilee launches a handful of fireworks towards the roof of the hangar to provide light for the upcoming fight.
