Nightcrawler instinctively blinked from the spot the moment the electrical bolts shot out, avoiding it completely.

Wolverine gets peppered with bolts of lightening, which burn holes into the mutant’s yellow suit. He feels the anger rising inside, even as he jumps to his feet to attack again!

Scott may not have powers, but he has trained for this. When he smells the ozone indicating the coming lightning, he hits the deck as quickly as he can.

Jubilee dives out of the way using her gymnastic prowess. But then again, dodging lightning is a little hard...

Just as the mook goes down, Gambit sees out of the corner of his eye Dr. Strain raise his hands to attack everyone and attempts to dodge behind the same workbench out of the way.

However, his bo staff is made of metal and acts almost like a lightning rod for the attack.

Nightcrawler teleports out of the way while Cyclops instinctively dives for the floor. The others are not so lucky and receive a serious blast like a lightning strike. A burning pain followed by a tingling sensation like their whole body is numb for a moment before it fades away. The doctor uses this momentary reprieve to stand up. One arm looks dislocated from Nightcrawler's trip, but then pops back into place by itself!

"The good doctor seems to have acquired some healing powers as well!" Nightcrawler remarked as he launched into another combination of strikes to try and keep Strain off balance.

"Lets see him heal this!" Wolverine snarls, as he throws himself at the doctor with reckless abandon, looking to land a particularly vicious attack!

Cyclops shifts into his Attack Stance and takes his shot!

Dr. Strain could not, in fact, heal this. The flurry of Logan's claws followed up by a knockout punch by Cyclops sends the Dr. sprawling on his back, unconscious. The X-men stand alone in the converted hangar, their enemies scattered around in unconscious heaps.

"Alright!" Cyclops says as he pumps his fist in the air for the victory. "Now, let's see if we can restore everyone's powers. Ideas?"

"Y'all sure know how to to make an entrance!"

Gambit leans on his bo staff a moment to take a breather and look around. Perhaps there is a light switch so they could see better?

Jubilee obliges, lighting up the area with her fireworks. Interesting how her power still manifests after being stolen, however weakly. Taking one of the gloves from the grunt, Jubilee puts it on and tries out its power.

Wolverine puts a heavy foot on the fallen doctor, making sure he can’t slink away while they were busy with the work of restoring powers!

"Why don’t we ask those new-mutants how these things work?"

They had been the victim of these things. Maybe they saw up close how they actually work!

"Or we load up the bird out there and get these back to Hank."

Gambit finds a power switch near the doorway of the hangar. Flourescent lights flicker on, computers and machinery powers up. The room hums with electricity and fans.

Jubilee puts on a glove. Tiny needles hidden in the forearm brace jab into her skin painfully. On a nearby computer monitor a DNA helix appears along with a file photo of Jubilee along with her medical information.

Jubilee shivers as the needles jab her.

"Ow, what gives!? I thought they were just shoving mutant powers into these gloves."
