Nightcrawler quickly pulled off the gloves from Dr Strain as well, in case they somehow could still absorb powers to enable the doctor to recover, quickly turning to see what Jubilee had learned in trying on hers.

Wolverine extends his claws once more, and snarls!

"Shame if something happened to all this data!" he threatens.

The mutant means to destroy the database of mutants, but also the FoH’s ability to make any more of these gloves! If Hank wasn’t here to puzzle it out, then it would have to be brute forced!

Jubilee feels the needles inject something into her arms and then slowly she feels her energy powers returning.

"It's reversible!" Nightcrawler saw the smile return to Jubilee's expression and concluded the positive. "We'll need both the computer and the gloves to return the powers of the others we rescued earlier. And then Forge will want to have a look at this."

"Really? Merveilleux! Gambit will check we have no more surprise guests and den put on a glove as well."

He checks the inside perimeter of the building for hidden mooks or doors for other soldiers to arrive before he puts on a glove.

"Wow, isn't that user-friendly."

Jubilee takes off the gloves and tests out her newly-returned powers.

Scott tries to seem relaxed when his salvation is a glove away. "Alright, who's next?" As their leader, he doesn't want to grab for the gauntlet and make another teammate wait.

NIghtcrawler held up the pair of gloves he had retrieved from the bad doctor, and quickly handed them over to Remy and Scott.

The X-Men pass around the gloves, feeling the sharp needles inject their mysterious fluid and their powers return. With each injection, you see the mutant's profile pop up on the computer. A whole database of mutant genomes... A wealth of knowledge, but terrible in the wrong hands. Also the formula for whatever Dr. Strain developed is likely stored on the computers as well.

The X-Men have their work cut out for them. Destroy the information, or preserve it and hope it doesn't fall into the wrong hands? There are also several dozen mutants that needed their powers restored, but also evacuated from the island.

There's also the question of who was funding Dr. Strain's work, and if word will get out. Will their be reinforcements sent to the island? The clock could be ticking...

"We need to help the others who've lost their powers," Cyclops tells the others after he removes the glove and flexes his hand. "That means we need this computer and the gloves. But we can't let it fall into anyone else's hands. Kurt, can we move this into the Blackbird and evac our people?"

"Fine! Let’s hustle!" Wolverine relents, retracting his claws and instead getting ready to lug equipment into the ship so they could extract!

"The entire thing?" Kurt looked to see if they could identify the section with the processor core and the memory bank.

"Shadowcat would be able to reach through these panels to remove what's necessary. Maybe Wolvie's claws could open them up too, but try not to cut through them!" Kurt stared at the computer console to see what he could figure out. What they needed was the memory core, as well as the interface that linked up to the gloves. And of course the gloves themselves.

"Just say the word!" Wolverine remarks, not knowing that Nightcrawler had already cracked the case!

Nightcrawler looks over the computer, following wires, connections, and peripherals to their source. After a few short minutes he's located the memory banks of this sprawling computer. It is several magnetic disk drives stacked in a cooled metallic case.

"You need to cut here and here." Kurt indicated to Logan exactly where to carve out through the externals without damaging the internals. It would still be a largish casing, but he would be able to move the entire thing.

"Looks like y'all have dis handled, should we get de other mutants onto de Blackbird?"

Gambit looks at Cyclops and Jubilee for confirmation before heading to the exit.

"Yes, we should. Good suggestion to keep things moving, Remy," Cyclops responds. "I'll help." Scott moves to the door with purpose, eager to get "his people" out of here.

Jubilee joins Gambit and Cyclops, ready to blow this popsicle joint!
