So a fumble in Runequest is any roll based on 5% of the chance of failure. In this case, a skill of 20 gives 80% failure, so 4% for a fumble, making 96-100 a fumble.Fumbling a first Aid roll causes a further 1d3 damage. I'll let you have the pleasure, @Edmund_Balworth

Vasana tries to patch it up first by assisting with first aid, and if not will use sufficient Magic Points to heal it fully.

This spell repairs damage done to hit points. The caster must touch the part of the body being healed. Each point of Heal immediately repairs 1 hit point in that location. If the location is not fully restored, Heal can be used again in subsequent melee rounds.
Heal cannot raise an adventurer from the dead. However, 2 points of Heal stops the bleeding of any wound or severed limb, and 6 points of Heal restores a severed limb to the body if all parts are available

Nathem was perturbed at his inability to patch the bulls wounds and so just resorted to poking them.

Vasana’s first aid doesn’t help, so resorts to magic. You’ll need a pow roll to cast, it can augment it with a passion or rune. Any suggestions ? Loyalty to the Colymar tribe perhaps? Or the Beast rune?

OK, so with your Heal 2, you can heal 2 points per round (each costing 2MP). You need more casting rolls to heal more.After the first round of healing, the bull is now on 5/18 (after Nathem starting gouging it). You may continue to draw on that passion roll, so only need to make POW rolls vs 95

You set off once more, the threat of the lizards isolated, and the destination of the Greydog clan becomes obvious, an old ruin standing on a steep hill, jutting upwards from the rocky hills and above the tree tops.
The woods are strangely quiet, you can't even hear birds and the light patter of light rain and wind blown leaves are the only sounds. You can't help but notice the Stone Woman menhir's are more prevalent. The trail of the herd and its thieves leads directly up a gently sloping ramp, into the old ruins.

Nathem squat and drew a rough layout of the ruins in the dirt. Rurik and I will scout to the open ground on the east. See what we can of the fortifications. I can make a distraction to draw them to the wall, then you enter? The man looked up at the others, his face calm.

From the distance you can see that it is a hilltop complex of some sort, walled and surrounded by smaller buildings. Most have crumbled, though a squat cylindrical tower dominates, sticking up far above the walls, the only building that appears to be more than one storey in height. The roof appears either collapsed or broken off, leaving it open to the sky.
Also if you have Homeland Sartar, you can make a roll to see what you know of this place
