Chigaru kicks down at the zombie trying to climb out, stunning it momentarily.

Khel moves into the room and fire a spray of fire. He’s able to stun the zombie next to Grimwulf.

Li moves up next to Shalelu and pierces another zombie. Separating its head from the body.

OOC:

Chiagru, you don’t have an undead in front of you, it’s in the hole trying to climb out.

Will draw new action cards in the next post. But unless the zombies draw well I’ll end the encounter here.

Seems that all the zombies needed was some time, as in a sudden flurry they are almost all able to escape their holes. Just two of them remain in their holes.

The one zombie that was already up, is able to get back in the fight and slashes out at Grimwulf, shaking him.

OOC:

You are all up again. Grimwulf need to make a Spirit roll to unshake.

Khel tries to stand upright, though his wounds ache. He creates another cone of flame and spreads it in front of him once Wess gets out of the way.

Grimwulf swings his maul around him, and the zombies around him fly through the air to become a red splatter against the walls.

Wess moves to the north and slices at the zombie between him and Chigaru, and another zombie is split in two.

Khel sends another burst of fire, engulfing three of the vile creatures. Somehow they are able to withstand the heat though, and shambles on.

OOC:

Wess, you didn’t add an extra d6 for your raise, and were 1 point of damage away from killing it.

Likewise, Khel was 1 point away from making them shaken.

Saldrina, Chigaru and Li is up.

With the zombie nearby stunned, Chigaru jumps down into the pit and goes for a head stomp.

Chigaru jumps into the cramped hole in the ground, leaving litte room to maneuver. Luckily both feet hits the zombie's head on the way down. It makes a splurch sound as the head separates from the body and blood is spraying all over the pit.

Remeber -1 from your wound, still a hit for a called shot to the head.

Saldrina flings another ball of fire at a zombie. "Where in the hells do they keep coming from?!"

I didn't forget, my normal attack is at +1 so the -1 cancels it out.

Saldrina sends another bolt flying, and another zombie is engulfed in flames.

Li quickly takes its place and moves up to slice at another zombie. He slices it in the side, shaking it.

With some teamwork you are able to dispatch the rest of the zombies without any more trouble.

OOC:

Ending the encounter there. The last two zombies that has managed to climb out will probably be dead by the time they get to act again.

Khel clutched his chest and coughed for sometime. "This goblin mutant has got the best of me. I am not fit to fight on without some resting and healing. If we are to continue, I would rather stay away from fights."

It is becoming a bit risky for Khel, moving around with 2 wounds.

The walk back to town only takes a few minutes, and you find Mayor Deverin pacing the glasswork cellar floors. You can hear voices from upstairs. The watch has arrived, to take care of the bodies. Possibly father Zantus is there as well.

"Oh good, you are back," the mayor says once she sees you. Then she seems to notice that you are one less as well as your wounds. "What happened? Where is Shalelu?"

Being one of the injured, Chigaru speaks up in his low grumble. "She's fine. She stayed behind to watch the exits. We haven't finished yet. Just need some rest and recovery and then we'll go back to finish the job."
