Two cops in the patrol car, keeping law and order as best as they can. And whatever else.

This idea's been spinning in my mind for a long time as a GM, and I feel it's very fitting for pbp: the minimum amount of players that's still a team, 2.

Two beat cops in a patrol car, doing their job, for better or worse.

The setting is a world of darkness, but not The World of Darkness. I suppose a lot of you know it inside out, so basically there's no mystery for the players, nothing weird or unexpected. We portray the PCs as being surprised or perplexed, but we aren't. Well, in this game you'll all be Jon Snows: you know nothing. Even if the characters encounter something that seems familiar, you actually don't know.

You think the charming chalk-white guy who only comes out after sunset is a vampire? You know nothing.
You think the creature that drinks people's blood to extend its life indefinitely is afraid of mirrors? You know nothing.
You think the woman who never leaves her apartment, and yet regularly shops in the market, wearing pentagram amulets, is a witch? You know nothing.

You really know nothing, because whatever you see, meet, capture on phone, or hear in gossip, comes not from the books, but from my twisted imagination. Fasten your mental seatbelts, you'll need them.

Are there two players interested in this?

I could get into this!

One question though... first edition or second edition NWoD?

Oh the good version, even better!

I am absolutely interested in some NWoD action.

So, we just need one more player to join this umbral, mind-bending trip.

this sounds interesting... there was a great WoD sourcebook called Tales from the 13th Precinct on this very subject.

A couple of questions: what would be the expected posting rate, and, would you need expert WoD players? (I am a beginner)

I do have that accessory, and I intend to use it.

Expertise is not required. Enthusiasm is required.

Well, I can post most days, sometimes I'll be too tired to post but will check for new posts regardless.

What can you two reasonably maintain?

Thanks for your answers. Maybe a slightly lower-paced, posting every other day, would work for me? I can post at weekends.

I'm generally good for daily posting, although once in a while I unplug on weekends. I also have work days that run long, but again -- not often. That said, Dr_B's pace (every other day-ish) is fine by me.

Sounds good to me.

I've set the game's post frequency to 3/week originally, that seems to be right.

I invited both of you, so welcome to the game.

You do not have permission to post in this thread.
