Howdy, all.
I've been around the rpg community off and on since the early 90's. I've played or run a number of games in the sci-fi, fantasy, and conspiracy/horror genres. Never got into superheroes games such as Champions or Marvel--though I did try them out a few times. Just wasn't my thing.
Anyway, since COVID, I've struggled to find gaming groups that play the kinds of games or systems that I enjoy. My time is limited, due to work and family responsibilities, so I can't afford to get into games that don't really resonate with me. As of right now, I'm not part of any in-person game. There are simply none in my local region that interest me. Most of the in-person games around here are D&D, which isn't my thing.
Games/systems I've played or GM'd run the gamut from TORG, Star Wars d6/d20, D20 Modern/Future/Past/Dark*Matter, Alternity: Dark*Matter and Star*Drive, Blue Planet 2.0, Hunter: The Vigil, Conspiracy X, Delta Green, Rolemaster, MERP, GURPS Horror, War Against The Chtorr and Monster Hunters games, and The One Ring 1e/2e.
Right now I'm really itching to play one or more of the following: The One Ring, GURPS: Monster Hunters, TORG, Dark*Matter, Hunter: The Vigil, and Blue Planet.
