Each of the characters gets the benefit of a long rest.
A casual examination of the Abbey over the next eight hours of rest reveals the following:
[ +- ] Exploring the Abbey
- the western door from the Entry Hall leads to a
long dark tunnel heading west with no other obvious exits
- the western southern door from the Entry Hall opens onto another barracks room with
bunkbeds; a
note is tacked onto the back of the door
- the middle southern door from the Entry Hall opens onto the room where Faith was kept captive. There is a
desk with a bunch of notes on it
- the eastern southern door from the Entry Hall opens onto a slightly more elegant bedroom with
three beds (not bunkbeds) and a
desk with a locked drawer. A
locked door stands in the eastern wall.
- the elaborate door with the carved figures standing on either side (the east end of the Great Room) opens onto what seems like an ordinary storeroom, though there is
something carved on the back wall (obscured by crates and barrels). The party finds
Faith's equipment in here.
- the back of the Chapel has been cleared for the Lord Mayor to use as a bedroom; in addition to his
bed, there is the
Lord Mayor's desk with many books on it and a large drawer in it.
- the door leading east from the Chapel opens onto a short passage that then opens out into a room built around an
elaborately-carved basin filled with crystal-clear water. Alcoves around this basin seem to contain
a bunch of treasure.
