Within Lighting Keep

Entering the last wooden door you all know straight away this is a kitchen. This 20 by 20 room has a large fireplace opposite the door you entered. There are no windows. The kitchen's large wooded work table and cupboards are bare, and a small iron cauldron hangs from an iron hook in the soot-stained fireplace. A stone well occupies the southwest corner of this kitchen. Next to the well is a wooden bucket attached to a fifty-foot length of rope. As with the rest of the keep this room is covered in a layer of dust, but here above the musty old air smell you can also smell the water. Presumably the well is not dry.

Torch holding Kurt will only walk in the room a bit to look about. He leaves the searching to others.

Grim walks over to the fireplace to check it. Seems always like a good stash spot and place for hidden compartments.

Alex, you wander around the kitchen finding nothing on the shelves or on the work table.

Rangrim, you do a thorough examination of the fireplace.There are no secret doors or cubbies, but again you are struck by the well structured stonework of this place.

At the end of the hallway the Hall ends in a right and left turn. To your right are a set of stairs going down and next to it a wooden door. To your left is a set of stairs going up with another wooden doorway next to them.

Looking on Kurt says, "Well those upstairs might go to the outside door where the downward ones are where we are going to find what we want."

"They might go to the outside door, indeed. I'd rather we didn't leave any 'mights' behind us. Better to clear the upwards staircase before exploring the down."

On the move Kurt, "Okay. Well. Will see." as he strides up the stairs to the door and will give it a good push, he expects it to be stuck.

The stairs simply go up to an open archway, no door at the top, it seems to lead to an upstairs hallway.

The door is next to the stairs. I added a picture to the description to help clarify. So there are two more doorways on the level of the Hall that are next to stairs.
