One step out of the hall into the early evening air has two night elves escorting you to the inn. They seem to be more concerned with making sure you go to and from your destination rather than watching what you do inside since they stay outside. Drinks and food are ordered and you all sit together at one of the long tables stretching the length of the room. During the meal, Allyk notices Wembil giving him a curious look - or rather, giving his gear a curious look.
"You have some interesting tools there, Mister Forsaken. I wasn't aware your people had a knack for the trade." The gnome indicates his own tools, patting them affectionately. His demeanor has shifted from cautious to friendly and genuinely intrigued.

Gazam settled down at the table with the others. He leans towards the troll and asks "What is going on? What are the loa trying to do to us, give us culture? Your loa do not understand orcs."
Oct 17, 2016 9:48 am
Meridia slides over to the bar, Can I grab one part Cenarion spirit 1 part Moonberry juice? As she passed a few silvers across. she doesn't really take note of the others conversation.

Mul'Zeb leans back in his chair, taking a large gulp from his drink. He wipes his mouth with the back of his hand and gives Gazam a wide smile. "Patience me eager friend. Da loa be bringing us to dese others who be able to help us find ya mage. Sometimes it be a good ting to share 'culture'." He takes another gulp and he glances over to Dormir for a tick, before moving back down to his drink. "No, I be tinking dat you be right. Da loa not be carin' much for us always. Dey have deir own concerns to be worryin' about. But dey be with us when dey be needed."

Mul'Zeb leans in slightly toward the rest of the group and nods toward Allyk, "Aye, ya be any good with dat ting?"
OOC:
Gah, I love the accent but it kills me when I'm typing. Trying so hard to keep it consistent, so sorry if I mix up a few things here or there.
Oct 20, 2016 7:25 pm
OOC:
I think you're doing fine with Mul'Zeb.
As Wembil waited for Allyk's response, Thalnazz sit beside Meridia. He keeps his voice low as you could be overheard. "There may be a way to help you other than the wells." He paused as Meridia was served her drink and Thalnazz ordered a Morning Glory Dew before continuing. "If their wells are blessed, then why can't you have one of your own making?" Smiling and tipping a few extra coins when his drink was served, Thalnazz took a long drink and a deep breath. "There are relics scattered throughout Azeroth. Many of these have magical properties. Some are even divinely touched." The statement hung in the air with another drink taken.

Allyk shifts, looking around nervously realizing how unique he is. He begins mentally drawing up schematics for a bomb big enough to eliminate the witnesses in the area. His eyes snap into focus realizing the gnome asked him a quest Yeah...I s'pose you could say I became one out of necessity.... after this unpleasantness he gestures at his undead state.
OOC:
MulZeb were you asking about me and my weapon or asking the group how much y'all trusted my undead carcass?
Oct 21, 2016 12:11 am
Wembil nodded. "I see. So, you were assigned the task of ... engineering devices for your people?" The gnome rubbed his chin, obviously puzzling something out in his head. "I don't suppose ... you might have found this task to be something you have the knack for, eh?"
Oct 21, 2016 1:05 am
OOC:
Haha, sorry, asking about Allyk and whether he's any good with his weapon.
Oct 21, 2016 4:53 am
Meridia tries hard to mask her shock Are you suggesting we destroy a holy relic and use the resulting residual as a purifying agent... I don't think I'd have the required skill to perform the manipulations but... I see your point.
Oct 21, 2016 2:39 pm
At the mention of destroying a holy relic, the priest's eyes widen but he composes himself quickly. "I sincerely hope nothing need be destroyed." Thalnazz goes silent as a fellow inn patron passes by. "You're thinking of this in arcane terms. The power of the Light is different. I just pray it allows us to succeed in this ... experiment."
Oct 21, 2016 5:30 pm
Assigned, press-ganged. It's a fine line. And yes, I've find that I can....see the devices in my head before I build them his hand presses over his breast bone frequently urging the conversation, and he does not seem to be aware that he is doing so. Looking to the group, he nods I can use this well enough, as well as the various bombs and other tools I build. And I don't need to worry about the vagaries of outside energies to power them.

Bringing his hand to his totem, Mul'Zeb gives a light chuckle. "Aye, da spirits be a fickle lot at times. But da voodoo can also be a powerful force!" He takes a swig of his drink. He turns towards the gnome, "And, uh... Mister... Tass..." His brows furrow as he realizes that he has forgotten the gnome's name. "Uhm... Mister Gnome, what sort of devices and gadgets ya be in da habit of makin'?" Mul'Zeb slouches down slightly, embarrassed.
Oct 24, 2016 4:48 pm
The metallic sound of an empty flagon slamming onto the table rings out above the conversation, bringing several other patron's attention to Dormir as he tries to lick the froth of ale from the beard surrounding his mouth. Dormir notices a few of the glances and cheers, raising both flagons in the air, "Drink like a dwarf, sing like an elf, and fight like an orc!" Hoping for a roar in agreeance, he turns, smiling ear to ear, looking for even just one patron to befriend. Defeated, he gathers both flagons and approaches the bar. "Two more ales fer me, and another round fer me friends with the gnome! On me!" Dormir points over to the table with Wembil and the others, then walks back with his freshly filled flagons.
OOC:
aaaah.... alliteration
"Wembil, ye seem t' be the mutual friend in our group here." As if expecting Wembil to speak for himself, Dormir pauses, making quick work of yet another flagon of ale, then sets it down and starts where he left off, "Me name'sh Dormir Emberheart, protector o' many, son o' Theramir Emberheart, associate smithy o' the Ironforge Metallurgy League, son o' Malduin Emberheart, high priest o' the Seven Sorrows. Pleased t' meetch ye. Who ye be?"

Following Meridia's lead, the others spout off similar introductions with vague reasoning for being here. The orc is Gazam Deadwolf, only admitting to once being a sailor and here to deliver a message to a particular human woman. The troll beside him is Mul'Zeb, here for spiritual guidance. The undead fellow is Allyk Karsin here for personal reasons.
OOC:
Feel free to give out any other information. I'd hate to give away anything for you.
Thalnazz pipes up "Yes! Hello! I am Thalnazz Whitesong, priest of the Holy Light conducting religious research. That is, until beginning a personal project with Miss Highstrider."

Gazam looks uncomfortaly at the dwarf for a few moments, his lips moving slightly. "Your name is too long. I will call you Dormir." He nods proudly before accepting the ale flagon and hoisting it.

"Why you come to big forest? Hunting elves?"

OOC:
Seriously Qralloq, you kill me. Just busted out laughing and got weird looks from the family...
Mul'Zeb accepts his new drink with a smile and a nod and takes a swig. "Yes, do be joinin' us. New friends always be welcome." He sets his mug down and raises an eyebrow while looking at Dormir. "So, what business be bringin' ya here to our gnome friend?"
Nov 6, 2016 1:02 am
"Aye, me namesh Dormir, 'nd ye be wise t' call me so. If me ears're blessed t' hear me lineage from erryone who spoke me name, ye can bet me head wouldn't fit'trough th' door!" Giving the appropriate pause for nods and breathed acknowledgements from his new comrades, he quaffs--no, nearly breathes--his ale with fervor. "Ye'd be a mule'sh uncle t' see me sober!" He lets loose a raucous laugh and slaps the shoulder of his nearby companion. Eyeing Wembil, "Ye've barrly sipped yer drink, gnome! Dun tell me we've found th' only abstainin' gnome in Az-sheroth! Well, ye asked what me bus'ness is in these parts. Sheemsh thish here gnome'sh able t' help me with somethin' of a problem! Ye see, I've got somethin' tha' not another person in Azhtherosh can idinify." Dormir looks each one of his new friends in the eye... well, he tries to the best of his ability in his current state. "And ye?! Must be somethin' grand t' bring togevver a wild band such as ye!"
Nov 6, 2016 1:13 am
Hmm... I wouldn't say grand. The dead one seems to be following me around for no good reason, and the big guys syarted following me around because someone speculated their might be a Mage here. You mentioned identifying things? I've studied alot of interesting objects in my time... I could look at it.
Nov 8, 2016 5:44 pm
Totally inebriated, though functional being he's a dwarf, Dormir gives Meridia a wide grin as he digs out a fist sized sapphire. Handing it to Meridia, one of the first things about the gem she notices is a green flicker in the center of the gem. Her extensive knowledge of magic tells her the flicker is fel magic. However, she also notices someone has put a sort of dampening spell over the gem - it doesn't look to be lasting for much longer though.
