All come together

Thalnazz smiles warmly at Meridia, his blue eyes twinkling in the late afternoon sun. "It is my calling to help others."
He speaks again after only a brief pause, noticing her nurse her arm. "I regret not returning to Quel'Thalas when the Scourge attacked." The twinkle in his eye faded with the growing sadness. "But..." He steels himself, taking a deep breath. "I made my choice. I have heard little since the official declaration of the re-christening. Would you mind sharing? I have wondered about my former home."

well under Prince Keal'thas it is being rebuilt. The scourge have been contained to the dead scar. Silvermoon had been cleansed of Arthas taint and the high city is mostly restored. There are problems without the Sunwell the spires are degrading. There's been a lot of research into how to give the architecture the power it needs but there aren't any solutions yet. And there are the wretched, poor souls driven to addiction without the wells light. Mostly things are just carrying on at the moment, with Prince Kael'thas leading a crusade into Outland we're mostly continuing on.

Gazam finds Mul'Zeb during the journey. "We met near here. Now we come back with elves and dwarves. Very strange."

"Outland??" Thalnazz exclaims incredulously before he is silent for a moment, lamenting. "The lengths we go... It sounds as though the people of Quel'thelas are quite resilient. That is good to hear."

We are the survivors, that is why the rebranding happened. We must not allow ourselves to be destroyed, Quel'Thelas must rise again. The blood of our kind must not have been shed in vain. I honestly don't know why Prince Kael is fighting this crusade, he had lead a force to Stormwinf to acknowledge the ancient treaties and then the next thing we know one of his Marshals returns talking about some crusade against the demon Magtheridon, and I'm not allowed in Dalaran because apperently some political shenanigans happened and we are no longer part of the alliance. You know I don't mind politics when it's all in its own little corner but when it starts effecting my ability to do research its infuriating.

Thalnazz looked worried. "I am sorry to hear such pettiness has blocked your research. I care not for politics. I don't quite know where that puts us, but if a couple of elves, a troll, a dwarf, a gnome, an orc, and an undead human can work together, I'm sure that sort of camaraderie can translate onto the larger scale of world politics."
Apr 3, 2017 1:15 am
"Aye, me friend. We be keepin' some strange company." He chuckles and slaps Gazam lightly on the shoulder. "Let us be hopin' our elf friend here is right, and the powers of these lands be comin' together as we have."

I don't know... I feel like everything is being split apart at the moment. Hopefully when Kael gets back from his crusade we will be able to restore our relations with the alliance, and act as a meeting ground given our growing connection with the horde.

The group travels through the swamp, the road sometimes submerged by overflow. You round bends and twists as the low branches and rolling hills make for the road to be the only way through this area.
City walls and watch towers across a bridge come into sight, engulf the horizon. The late afternoon sun glares behind you, barely able to poke light through the trees. Thalnazz steps forward, seeing three armored humans at the far end of the bridge, and turns to the rest of the group. "Well, we're here. "

At some point during that trip (or now) Meridia changed into her Acolytes robes. Binding another cloth around her eyes to hide the fell she grabs onto Thalnazz Lets just say I'm one of your acolytes. That leaves how to get the rest in...

Thalnazz turns to the others. "Dormir and Wembil will be no problem. Even with Theramore's relatively friendly relations with the Horde, I'm not sure how well they are received into the city."
Wembil speaks up upon hearing his name. "I'm not leaving Allyk's side."
Apr 11, 2017 2:28 pm
"This is a bad idea. Orcs knows bad ideas. This is one." Gazam shrugs. "But that never stop an orc!"
Apr 14, 2017 5:15 pm
"Aye, we're surely a diverse group. Suppose the lot of ye are Wembil's and me ambassador friends on personal business? That should get us int' th' city, but we'd have t' be careful from there." Dormir displays the family crest crafted into his shield. "Me father and me father's father hold prominent positions in Ironforge, so me family name might hold weight t' get us past th' guards."

Thalnazz looks mildly surprised at the suggestion. "That ... just might work actually."

I....ah....I suppose I could wear a cloak if that would help. Allyk shifts uncomfortbaly at Wembil's outburst

Gazam nods in agreement. Humans are dumb. This will work.

"Make sure ye don' appear too... aggressive when ye approach the' guards, and stay t' me rear." He gives one last glance at everyone, noting anything the guards may question upon closer inspection. "And Wembil, turn up th' charm, eh?" With a nervous chuckle, he waves on the group to approach Theramore's main gate.
Apr 24, 2017 8:43 am
"Charm??" Wembil gasped, obviously offended. "Good dwarf, I will have you know that I have charmed the pants off Millie Manastorm before that blowhard Millhouse ever laid eyes upon her." The gnome crosses his arms over his chest indignantly.
Apr 24, 2017 2:19 pm
Barely turning his head toward Wembil as he confidently approaches the gate, Dormir gives the slightest eye roll and produces a quick retort, ever so slightly mimicking the gnome's jovial tone of voice, "Aye, ye got charm like royalty and th' drama o' Stormwind thespians. Just what ye need."

Wembil smiles smugly for a second before he freezes. His smile melts as he squints at the dwarf, sure that he was just made fun of, but not sure how...
