Scene 1: Arrival

Walking out with Elster and Larsie "I agree, let's head back to Kaya's and get some sleep."

Tonby exits with the other, "Yes, I agree, we should head back and get some rest." Tonby heads back to Kaya's.

Party head back toward the inn. Path lie through the red bazaar where they see business has concluded and only few last merchants are cleaning up their tables. The one who pointed you at Razira by a chance if one of them.

You also notice brightly painted dinosaurs moving from west gates through the city. Each dinosaur is led by a chultan.

At the inn: bar is unusually empty and bartender explain that most patrons left to watch dinosaur race and is surprised you are not.

"I would like to see a dinosaur race eventually, but right now, I just want to wash up and sleep." Yendil says to the bartender, and he walks to his room.

While heading back to Kaya's for a well earned rest, Larsie spots the merchant that she had purchased her dress from earlier in the day and walks over to them. Not wanting to give up too many details about Razira's situation, simply says.

"My friends and I have found Razira. She is safe and you'll most likely be hearing from her in a few days time."

While Larsie has obviously never seen a dinosaur race it's not something she overly excited about going out of her way to watch.

"I think I'll pass on the races. It's time for me to get some much needed rest."

She gives the bartender a weak smile and heads up to her room.

Tonby takes note of the Dinosaur racing but disregards it for the time being as he is tired and wishes to rest. He will return to the Inn, get cleaned up and go to bed.

You all sleep well and feel significantly better next day, though still sweating much. You all gather at the breakfast table and discuss today's plans when bartender approach you asking if you plan to stay another night (and either asks to pay another gold or to free the rooms before mid-day)

Not sure if Syndra is planning to get the group alternate accommodations, Elster thanks the bartender and gives them another gold.

"I hope everyone got a good nights sleep. Is there anything we need to do before meeting with Syndra this afdternoon?"

Ren will pay the singular gold coin to keep his room. "I may look into a set of those jungle clothes," Ren says as he eats. "But beyond that? No."

"I certainly don't have anything planned beforehand." Larsie responds, still a bit tired after an uncomfortably warm night's sleep. Deciding it best to try and fit in with the locals she has left her armor and weapons in her room, and is wearing the dress she purchased the day before.

"There might be a few more items that could be helpful to pick up in the market. Perhaps I'll stop by the Sune temple afterwards to see if the head priest has any insight that may be of use."

"Yes, I think another night in this inn sounds perfect," Yendil says to the bartender as he hands him a gold coin. "While I have your attention, I've been hearing about these merchant princes. As a local, what can you tell us about them? We've heard that there are seven of them, and we've learned the names of Wakanga O'tamu, Jabal, Ekene-Afa, and Kwayothé, but what are the names of the other three? And I believe they have their own special departments, is that correct?"

After the bartender has left the table, Yendil says to the others in the group "We could try to find a solution to the strife of Razira, look into Artus Cimber that Larsie and Elster heard about, we could try to find information about or from this Priest of Torm, or find a guide for the expedition into the wilderness. I think we should tread carefully, but I kind of want to see what we can do for Razira."

Tonby will give the Bartender another gold piece and tips him a silver before he departs their table, "A gold for the room and a silver for yourself my good man."

He then turns to the others, "Those are well and good ideas but the fact of the matter is we have a mission to complete that comes first and diverting our attention to much may cost us. Though, talking to the priests of Torm might help us because they do have knowledge about the dangers we will face in the jungle. They also run an outpost deep in the jungle called camp Vengeance that may be of some interest to us. We just need to be careful about getting to involved with local matters."

I think you can call that "department" bartender laughs hearing Yendil's assumption. Don't you have oligarchs in your home city?
He name and explain 3 more merchant princess trying to impress you with epic description and exaggerations, explaining that most capable business man/woman of most profitable business areas established a control eliminating gang wars between concurrent families. Without taking notes you can barely remember the names and approximate business are of 3 more oligarchs and the businesses they control are those:
Jessamine - poison and assassination
Ifan Talro'a - beasts and beast training
Zhanthi - jewelry and cloth

As you talk among yourself you notice a heavy raining outdoors. It doesn't make temperature drop though and only make you seat more due to dense humidity. But residents of Port Nyanzaru seem to pay little attention to the rain and continue their daily routine as usual.

"Who wishes to accompany me to the Temple of Torm?" Tonby was full from breakfast and ready to get this day going.

Larsie is torn. While she had been looking forward to visiting the Sune temple, the reason for doing so was for her own curiosity under the guise of possibly learning something that might help with the mission. And while she feels empathetic towards Razira's problems, they are not hers to solve, especially given her unfamiliarity with local authorities and customs.

"I suppose the Sune temple can wait for now; I'll go with you to the temple. Perhaps we can learn more of this outpost and if it can be of some use to our cause."

Elster is waiting to see what information the bartender offers about the merchant princes. That's gap in his knowledge he would like to fill.

After that he will reply to Yendil; "I would at least like to try and help Razira. I'll join you if everyone doesn't mind switching dance partners for the day."

"Not like this we don't.""But it does make more sense to me now, so thank you for that explanation."

"Haha, gladly, I think we're gonna spend a lot more time together on this island before we're done, so let's switch it up!" Yendil says to Elster as he amicably grabs him by the shoulder. "Where should we dance towards? I was thinking of trying to find at least a little bit more information about that secret society, but outside of Syndra, I have no clue where to start. We could request an early meeting with her, but maybe you have a better idea?"

"We will have to ask around about where the Temple or Priests of Torm congregate, I doubt they have a Temple District like they do back home," Tonby says firmly. He knew it wasn't going to be that simple.
