On the road

The goblin gives a snort of disgust at Tatiana, "Me Trck, not Klarg." he remembers himself and ducks his head at Decklan's next blow, "Klarg is bugbear ass. He boss of we."

Raven the oxen settle in quite calmly and assure you they will be patiently waiting.

Surge this goblin is hard for you to read with his studderd speach and strange cadence.

"Trck. My apologies," says Tatiana, though more out of habitual politeness than sincerity. "Klarg is your bugbear boss. Who else is at this Eating Cave?"

Ammos follows along whilst maintaining a short distance from the goblin,
"Let me make sure I have this right... A spider told the goblin's king to get a dwarf on the road- and the king told Klarg- the goblin's boss- who is a bugbear to do it?" Ammos speaks out loud to the group.
"Forgive me, I feel like we may be missing something. Was Gundren specifically targeted, or are they after just any dwarf?" Seemingly unwilling to confront the goblin himself, Ammos maintains his distance and avoids looking at the diminutive creature.

Keeping his dagger going in an out of Trck's eyesight, Alex replies to Ammos. It is not uncommon for goblins to work with bugbears and hobgoblins, especially when the priests of Maglubiyet get their knickers in a twist. Goblins are usually the scouts, although hobgoblins usually lead as the bugbears are lazy good for nothings—other than stealth, murder, and mayhem.

To Ammos, "King Grol bugbear, yes. Big and mean, but not dumb, we follow. Klarg big and mean but dumb. Like himself to much. Yeemik will kill him eventually." The goblin says his the last sentence mostly under his breath to himself.

Ammos cuts a look at Alex, "It wasn't the mention of the bugbear that had me confused. It was the mention of a King in the region, an intelligent Spider, and the targetting of a dwarf." He pauses in contemplation "There are wheels turning here that we cannot yet percieve the effect of."
Ammos will roll the information over in his head as he thinks. He will follow when the party travels to the eating cave.

If given the chance he will try to speak to Tatiana whilst still in relative safety as well "The armour enchantment should remain in effect for 8 hours, I hope you will remain safe... Are you okay?"

"They tried to kill us," Tatiana says with grim finality. "I can forgive comments about Livia's weight or Mother's garish taste in art..." here she draws out the word as though the mere association of the label is a crime, "... but I will not stand idle when someone dares bring injury to us and those under our name."

Her gait is determined and petulant, but her eyes burn with intensity. "I will see this cave filled with their bones and collapsed upon their skulls until history forgets there was even a cave there!"

"Keep your head." Ammos speaks with uncharacteristic sternness. "Revenge cuts at both ends, we will deal with these creatures. But they are just that. Creatures. We will not allow them to vex us into making mistakes." He will maintain stern eye contact with Tatiana, hoping to bait some acknowledgement from her.

Satisfied that the oxen are taken care of as best can be arranged, Raven follows the others as the goblin leads the way. He has his staff held tightly as he watches the forest around them for any signs of additional attackers. Things definitely were not going the way of a simple delivery of supplies.

I'm relatively certain that "Black Spider" is an appellation and not a literal description, Alex responded to Ammos, as he genteelly pokes Trck in back with the dagger. Keep moving if you want to keep your ears!

Turning back to Amos, based on your and your sister's deportment, I presume you had access to the finest of tutors and most knowledgeable of sages. Haven't you been taught never to end a sentence with a preposition? Alex says with a smile, following immediately with I kid; I kid. The conversation was getting too dark.

Amos prodded Trck with his hand, this time, not the dagger. Speaking of dark; Trck, is Yeemick yet another bugbear?

Trck leads the party to the Northwest of the road and you see that he has begun walking along a trail. It is wide enough that the party may walk 3 abreast. The goblin is limping on his left foot, it causes him to sway on the path every now and then but he seems not to make any attempt to escape. To Alex he grumbles, "Yeemick is goblin.

What is the marching order

Tatiana stares at Ammos in return, before finally saying, "There will be no mistakes."

Decklan will stay at the back, mostly just to suppress the urge to slap the little green bastard.

Remember, Trck, one peep and you will find out how your own nostrils taste.

Ammos will be in the same rank as Tatiana.

Raven will quietly fall in next to Decklan.
