Yeah that seems fine, no arguments or input from me. Nice to have it in place when we need it, but (unless I'm mistake) nothing we are doing now needs to be nailed down to a specific time.

I mean I just need a way how to tell you that you still have plenty of time to spend that day

@TatharCiryatan no in 5e you are supposed to become exhausted doing more than 8 hours of adventuring a day. Especially so in the hot climate you are at now. OK, let's replace simplicity with reality. It is too hot 11:00-15:00 to do any adventuring in this climate, so:
07:00 AM-11:00 AM Adventure
15:00-19:00 PM Adventure
Every other time is relaxation (i.e. spending time at your inn pub)/eating/sleeping. Doing anything else is at at the risk of getting exhausted.

Visiting Syndra at merchant's prince villa counts as relaxation.

Sure, I'm fine with your call!

crazybirdman says:
carrying around weapons is frowned upon, and magic isn't allowed
My intention was to describe in this story that it is only the goldenthrone building where you were not allowed to bring weapons in. As well as the fact that people treat spell casting in public as as offensive action (just because most of the people don't understand magic they are afraid of it). I'm sorry if felt to deliver that message.

I suggest anyone ask Syndra about spell casting politics in the city. Even if she can't answer, she can redirect that question to Wakanga.

Oh yeah, I know that, and Elster probably knows that, but he is just kind of playing dumb to try and get the answer to his question.

good to know that. will narrate accordingly, just waiting for other players input

crazybirdman says:

Let me know if I need to roll to resist his intimidation
If you as a players prefer to consult with a dice, feel free to roll it, but as a DM I allow players decide how fearless their PCs are - unless your PC is affected by magical fear effect.
I would certainly award you with an inspiration if you role-play are least some sort of rational fear (that would be appropriate for LVL 1 PC, but it up to player to decide).

Cool. I don't think he'd be afraid with so many allies in the room. Otherwise, he would definitely be afraid of a trained gladiator 😅 I'll try to get better about making stuff like that clear in my in-character posts

@crazybirdman Just don't say I didn't warn you when your PC end the scene with a spear through his chest and your allies crying in despire.
just joking... or was I?

EVERYONE
Merry Christmas ! I want to grant you some Xmas gifts, so

Status update:
I'm waiting for @Azule86 and @TatharCiryatan posts before I can continue story narration. Given NY let's wait and hope players to get back to the game.

Looks like we are down to two active players and I'm going to ask @crazybirdman and @szemely how do you feel about this game. I'm not sure this is the game were a new player jumping in would feel like comfortable, so I see possibilities:
- Retire game
- Continue with 2 players and DM run NPCs (rather passive ones, you two will need to do all the decisions)
- Continue waiting if @Azule86 or @TatharCiryatan get back to gaming

How do you feel about it?
Jan 7, 2025 10:59 pm
I'd rather retire the game than run with two players...
Jan 7, 2025 11:58 pm
agreed. It's probably too much for a new player to take in everything. If the others are gone for good, I guess we can let this game retire

OK. Thanks for staying with me this long. Any feedback you could provide would be appreciated. Especially the critical one. Help me improve
