Character Creation Discussion

I haven't approved any of the characters submitted yet, but I'll approve them conditionally upon reviewing them in detail tonight.

is there a place or thread were we can post our backstory... i dont mind doing it here but it might overflood the thread, or get lost in the discussion

I'm putting together my character right now. I haven't done this in literally years so I'm liable to mess it up. Definitely need a review when I'm done.

I promise I'm not trying to sneak anything in that shouldn't be there... just doing my best.

Just submitted it. Human Cleric with a Soldier background. I think it has some damage potential but can still heal. Please let me know what I've messed up, lol.

ok quick heads up... in my background story, In my characters background (as shown in the seperate thread later today) he has had a rougth standing with High elves, and still has a deep hatred towards them, or at least he doesnt like them at ALL... so be aware

Nobody likes elves, except young girls

I was thinking of doing a barbarian wizard or fighter wizard if we are allowed to multi class haven't decide what race yet

Multiclassing is awesome, go hard

Barb wizard is difficult combo because when raging you cannot cast any spells or concentrate on them. so they really fight eachother, i wouldnt go for it but its your character

I pretty much want a fighter that can use magic to bolster its self

well take a look at the eldrich knight, paladin, or go warlock with potential at lvl 3 as a bladelock (pact of the blade) but the rage kills everything that has to do with magic

If you do want to try something odd, this is the place to do it. Party of 6.

Hm I'll look into it what combo works the best but for sure I'll be using magic to enlarge myself and weapons to beat my enemies down

well i like that idea (Always big fan of enlarge and hit) looking at it, enlarge is a snd lvl spell, so as a wizard you will only learn 1 at lvl 3, and is a concentration spell so if you enlarge yourself, as soon as you rage you shrink back down.
