Moved some points from Dex to Int after reading more on the combat mechanics. For initiative and whatnot.

Nope, no bonus on hitpoints for high Constitution. At 1st level, you either get Constitution +/- class modifier or the generic amount for your class, whichever is higher. That's part of the genius of the game design. Since all tests are rolls against your abilities, there are no modifiers based on abilities. You're just rolling against your ability.

And no, your runeblade would have been searched for and taken from you; but I'm not the type of DM to leave you deprived of a core class feature for very long. It will be returned to you relatively shortly once things get moving.

Since even your boots would likely have been taken from you, I don't think so. But you could have found a small bone that you could use as a lockpick or some other improvised device. We'll start shortly, just waiting to see if anyone has any other character creation questions.

Yes. Bricks, sticks, bones, a shiv broken from an old metal food dish, anything that would be found in a stone cell would be appropriate. You could even use a torch as a weapon if you wanted.

If you are not familiar with the system, I can run a bit of a tutorial for the characters in which they eventually escape from their cells and consequences for failure would be fairly reduced compared to consequences in the actual game.

Or I could simply have everyone use a point of Resolve to escape their cells and allow you to put the escapes into your backstories.

Yeah! Check out my sheet, I have them organized and marked! It's a pretty elegant system. Roll Under is quickly stealing my heart.
