"Let me ask the Captain." Drake shares his idea with the captain via comm to transport the doctor and himself past the lift, designate a meeting location, and gather the crew together.

Captain Syran readies the transporter chief for Drake's plan but first relays the information to Cole, the away team leader. "Commander, the Christa's sensors are fully functioning. Lieutenant Drake has asked if the transporters will work and we confirm everything is fully functional, no interference. We standby to offer assistance."

Before Chief Orda could respond to Cole's question his comm badge chimed and activating it received an update from the Captain. Meeting the security chiefs gaze, he shrugged, offering both an ask for permission and apology, "Go ahead and follow the Ensign's lead, if we can catch the Ferengi delegate we might get some answers.

I'm here with the station's security chief and will include him in any interview we may conduct.

Cole out."

Syrran confirms the request and relays the orders. "Comms indicates that there are four ferengi in the area. The one chased by Drake and M'Ress has joined a male, and they're headed for a vehicle bay where the other two are inside a submarine. Transporting everyone to intercept."



Transporters whine around you and you all appear together, in a vehicle bay. There is a submersible in water in a pool-like section, floating and connected by a catwalk or pier.

Security officer Orda gets his bearings quickly and says, "The Ferengi submersible, they call the Rathplak. It's armed with several small torpedoes and is capable of reaching orbit with it's thrusters. However, it's shortrange only."

"Do we try to stop the submersible or pursue it?" Luna asks quickly while looking around for a similar craft to pursue if the Ferengi will manage to leave the bay.

No, just the one submersible. Luna knows that the Raven's berth isn't too far away, if it came to a chase. Perhaps a one minute run to get there, of the hallways are clear.

"We should try intercepting the scientist and whoever joined her," Drake suggests once they all meet up.

Luna makes a run for the getaway submersible trying to catch up with them. Drawing her phaser.

"Buah!" The teleportation caught him by surprise, and he looked around, a bit baffled by their destination. But he was a trained Starfleet officer. Even disoriented, he tried to make himself a little useful.

Aurin looks around the room for a control panel that might give him access to a docking tractor or other equipment they could use to hold down the submersible.

"Hold Lieutenant," Cole ordered to his enthusiastic pilot as he made a gesture with his hand, urging calmness and caution, "Per the Captain we should be seeing the female Drake and the doctor interviewed and an unknown male, our murderer perhaps.

"I suggest we take positions around the submersible and wait. Cole and Luna make sure their companions inside don't come out weapons blazing while we attempt to confront the pair upon arrival."

Tapping his comm badge he hailed the Christa, "Chief Orda has stated that the submersible is capable reaching orbit and short range. Be prepared to intercept should our Ferengi 'friends' make a getaway and dial up the scanners as they may have a ship near by running dark."

M'Ress waits her tail flicking. Do we know how many are in the craft?

Captain Syrran's reply to Cole is immediate. "Acknowledged, Commander. Christa McAuliffe standing by to intercept."

I'm the hallway outside the vehicle bay you can hear the loud noises of clumsy running feet.

How do you operate for their arrival? Feel free to make up and to narrate the contents of the vehicle bay. Assume the dry portion is a half moon shape around the water portion, and contains assorted material appropriate for repairs, maintenance, or dealing with cargo. Nodding slightly in acknowledgement and satisfaction of the Christa's confirmation, Cole surveyed the vehicle bay's interior and noting not only the layout but anything that stood out on hand. The pounding of approaching feet tore him from his observation, his gaze sweeping and meeting those of the away team.

"Take position at the catwalk," he ordered as he gestured to Chief Orda to joint him at its entry, "Chief, perhaps since you are the sole representative authority we have present that you might take the lead in addressing the --- I hesitate to say suspects so instead will say suspicious acting individuals?"

"Particularly since your council was less than enthusiastic about our participation in the investigation?"

Aurin scans the docking bay for any sort of docking equipment - a tractor or clamp they can activate to lock the sub down before it bolts...
