Good day folks. I'm NerdyOldImp and I'm very much interested in charging (crawling) back into the wild and fantastic world of TTRPGs through PbP. I've had previous experience with playing/DMing several RPGs using a variety of gaming systems. Most of my TTRPGing were with legacy/OSR such as ADnD 2Ed, Palladium Rifts and Gammaworld. Fairly recently the fires of my lost but beloved hobby were reignited and though RL has presented challenges that prevent me from conducting in-person sessions so at least I can feed by imagination monster and share my passion for the games with others through PbP (I hope). I am looking forward to initiating this experience soon and may start running a DnD 5E short-but-sweet (spicy or salty or savage) adventure series (probably with either the Dragonlance or Eberron setting) with other like-minded noobs to get my plate armor dented. Why 5E, let's say the reason for my reinvigoration was brought about by encountering a random 5E instance tripping me from adulting so.... Anyway, I am open to other systems to play so we shall see.
Note: I am new to 5E, along with many of the other novel systems that were "born" during my hiatus but hey I got to start somewhere.
