Meepo and Laulalith settle in to their rooms at the Salvation Hotel. The rooms are small, but clean. They can tell that the proprietor has tried to grove the rooms a big city feel, but has missed the mark. Each room has a cot-sized, comfortable bed, a nightstand with an elemental lamp, a tiny dining table and a wooden chair. There are no closets. In Meepo’s room, a lithograph of a large city with a floating city above it is displayed above the bed. In Laulalith’s room, it is of a lightning rail station. They each have no issue getting a good night’s sleep.
In the Guardians’ Hall, Famul sets about locking the doors and securing the shutters.
"famul does not sleep… famul keep watch…", he says as he drops a beam across the large hall doors, securing them. Those in the hall listen to Torhak’s tune, which the acoustics in the chamber allow everyone to hear clearly. Despite the slight draft and sound of the wind whistling through some of the shutters and rafters, those in the hall have a good night’s rest as well.
The following morning, somewhere in the distance a rooster crows at dawn.

Halfling Porter
At the hotel, a polite knock at the kobold’s and elf’s room reveals a light haired, young halfling with the promised coffee, pastries and copy of the Salvation Times. Laulalith sees a blurb on her performance at the Grey Beyond.

Garundah
In the hall, Belaluur’s daughter, Garundah stops by to let Vice know his message has been sent to Leon and he should arrive by noon.
"Mother told him to stop here and not go into town.", her little noisemaker contraption, skitters around her shoulder and into her shirt pocket.
"He’s getting quite the personality!", she beams.
