Chapter Three - Return to the Mournland

Under the glow of Laulalith's lights, Torhak and Vice notice a stone skull near the floor on the wall with a scratch and a spot of blood from their kobold friend. When they push the skull the floor reopens to release Meepo. He holds a small iron pot in his hands.

Meepo climbs out of the small stone box as the floor tile slides into place once more. With the benefit of light, Meepo can better see the minimalist design of the pot. Extremely worn by time, perhaps even generations worth of wear, the kobold can see the faintest etching of a some sort of caravan. A covered wagon, two oxen and a dancing bard with a mandolin can barely be seen wrapping around the pot, endlessly circling it. He also notices the pot lid is screwed on.

37 studies the iron pot. He is able to identify it as a scroll holder. The decoration on the iron pot is Vistani. 37 recognizes the style of the caravan from drawings within Vera's diary. Using his ritualistic spell, the warforged is barely able to sense the necromantic magic of a scroll within. However, he is unable to ascertain the exact spell of the scroll. Being a scroll, he would know that it must be cast by a caster in order for the magic to take effect.
