The DC to Stabilize should be DC 17. Iroven is Dying 2 and Tomas still haven't done one save. Once they are stabilized you can Treat Wounds. Or Koram could use Battlefield Medicine to speed up the process.

With a shriek the creature falls down, the carcass deflating in a horrible sound. Then a silence comes over the cave for a moment, only the panting of Artesia and Koram filling the air. Then you can hear whimpers from a raised ledge from the southwest. You also have your fallen companion to deal with.

Artesia, this time it seems you forgot your Wisdom bonus. It should be WIS (4) + Level (4) + Trained (2) = 10. It made it a hit, and with the weakness it was just enough to fell it along with the damage from Koram. The DC to Stabilize should be DC 17. Iroven is Dying 2 and Tomas still haven't done one save. Koram, sorely wounded from the fight himself, immediately rushes to Iroven's side and pulls out his medical kit. He works swiftly to try and patch his companion up and stop the bleeding.
Once Iroven seems out of danger, he moves to Tomas's side. The man appeared to have stabilized, but was still out of it.

It don't take Koram much time to get their companions back on their feets. You all survived somehow.

Koram let's out a sigh of relief as his companions come to. "Good, good, you had us worried for a moment, both of you."
He sits for a moment, closing his eyes and focusing on his link to the astral plane, searching for Haitith. This wasn't the first time he had lost his connection binding his friend to the material plane, but it didn't happen often, and it worried him. After a few moments, his consciousness finds the link and he summons his friend back to join them.
"There you are! You worried me."
"I'll always exist," the dragon says, sidling up to him. "It is you who is weak and needs protection. It is wise for you to find me again. You should do better not to get hurt."
"Thanks," Koram says with a laugh, "I'll do my best." He ruffles the dragon's neck with his fingers and gives him a hug before turning his attention to the nearby ledge.
"Do you hear that?" he asks the others.

Iroven opened his eyes and coughed; his whole body spasmed in pain. Turning to Koram, he thanked him for nursing his wounds and bringing him back from the corners of final rest. "Master Koram, I thank you for helping me survive. What was that thing? Somekind of demonic creature that can possess the dead bodies of other creatures? We need to take rest before we can go out exploring again. My body aches from all the wounds. How is everyone else?"
He watched Haitith—the eidolon of Koram coming back. Turning towards it, he bowed to the creature to show respect.

Haitith looks to Iroven a moment, then bows his head in return.
"Any time, Iroven. Just glad to still have you with us," Koram says.

Artesia lets exhaustion overcome her, tinged with relief at having survived and destroyed the foe. More importantly, all of her companions were alive as well. She had done her job.

Once she has time to think, Artesia recognizes the creature as a Roru. Rorus, sometimes called hunter demons, are brutal fiends that arise from the souls of mortals who mutilated animal corpses. As demons, these individuals don animal pelts, then infiltrate packs or herds to corrupt entire swaths of animals, turning their victims bloodthirsty and feral.
You realize that it was good that you didn't have any animals with you. They have an aura that can turn animals feral. But aside from the usual demonic weaknesses like cold iron and holy damage, they have a weakness to disobedience. It's so hard that if an attempt to command an animal near them fail, they take physical harm.

Iroven slowly stood up and turned to Koram, "What do you mean? Voices? Are there more of these creatures?"
Jan 14, 2025 8:49 am
Koram, now having caught his breath, stands and moves to the ledge to determine what is making the sounds. "We shall see," he answers Iroven.
Jan 14, 2025 2:32 pm
The ledge is a foot taller than Koram, so he has to climb a little to look at it. Though halfway up he can tell what the source of the sound is. Three young smilodon cubs is "growling" at him.

"Oh those poor things" Tomas mutters "We should take them back and raise them for the tribe"
Jan 15, 2025 6:17 am
Koram looks to the pair of smilodon corpses nearby and feels a pang of sadness wash over him. "I do not know the first thing about raising animals like this, but we cannot leave them here...they will surely perish. One could argue it would be the natural order of things, but whatever demon that was that attacked us here, that was not natural. Saving these cubs would balance things, if only a little."
He turns his attention to tiny, growling felines. "It's okay, little ones. We are not here to hurt you." He holds his hands out to show they are empty and attempts to appear non-threatening. Then, he gets an idea and slowly pulls out three strips of dried meat from his pouch. He holds them up and tosses them closer to the kittens.

They sniff the meat carefully, then darts back as they see a movement. One is braver than the rest though, and rushes forward to drag the meat back to their siblings. They hungrily eats, but still hisses at you when you get near.

Iroven uncloaked himself and kept the cloak spread out on the ground so that the cubs could come closer and Artesia could do what she was trying to do. He also crouched back and slowly waited for the cubs to come closer by keeping a piece of the meat on the spread-out cloak.
