Kalis steps into a burial chamber. Small cubbies are set into the walls and were once filled with a variety of crocks, urns, and vials. The magical explosion has broken all of them, mixing their contents into a runny paste that drips down the stone and pools on the floor. More clay pots lie shattered upon the tile, their contents scattered across the room; a hint of sparkle against the torchlight indicates some gemstones and coins were once contained inside.
Seemingly untouched is a stone sarcophagus that rests upright against the far wall, opposite the door. Carved onto the lid is the image of a figure at rest, arms crossed upon its chest and hands clasping what look like symbols of office: a scepter topped with an open eye, and a large rod with a flaming orb. A circle of light halos the figure's head, and robes drape from its shoulders to envelop the body and legs.
