Hello! Longtime GM, First-Time Poster

Hello everyone! I’m Vincent. While I’ve been rolling dice for decades now—both behind the GM screen and as a player—I’ve never tried play-by-post. It’s something I’ve glanced at through the years, so I figured it's time to take the plunge! Life has gotten a bit too hectic for long in-person sessions; however, I always find myself with time at the start and end of my day and I love to write, so play-by-post seems like a great fit. I'm not sure how all this works quite yet, so I'll spend a day or two learning how play-by-post works before applying to any games.

If you’re curious about my tastes, I’m a particularly big fan of Call of Cthulhu. After that, I’d choose Stars Without Number, Blades in the Dark, Ironsworn, and Dungeon Crawl Classics to round out my top five TTRPGs.

I’m looking forward to starting a new chapter in my gaming career with all of you!

All of the games you mentioned are pretty popular here on GamersPlane but there's a pretty wide selection of other games beyond those as well.

I definitely recommend joining the GamersPlane Discord. We don't play over there but it's a great way to get to know the denizens of GP and discuss PbP, TTRPGs, pop culture and other topics.
