Didn't know if anyone was in other games on GP with him. And no, I don't mind! I'm really impressed by all the effort you guys have put in!

I am ok with waiting for Tarrasque before we push through.
I was thinking the following order.

1. The imp
2. Ameera
3. Erran's sword
4. Erran
5. Pyrrah
6. All Backpacks
7. Optional Imp can go back if we want to have its support for the lone person.
8. Baric (or Devanis)
9. Devanis

I'd rather not hold up the game, since we don't know when Tarrasque will be available again. I'd say push onward, and I'll account for you being a player down until he gets back.

Hey, everyone! Sorry for disappearing there for a while, but I'm back!

And that sounds like a good order, probably a good idea to have the Imp go back as support just in case something crazy happens.

Just wondering, is anyone wanting to attempt to make the hole bigger?

I think Ameera did try to make the hole bigger, with ominous results.

Welcome back, Tarrasque! Glad the PbP attrition monster didn't grab you :P

So once again, this week is going to be hectic for me. If I miss a day, don't be alarmed. This month in general is going to be busy (I'm moving from Georgia to Washington State at the end of the month), but for the most part this week will be the most likely one in which I'll miss a post. Thanks in advance for your patience!

I don't suppose these catacombs are considered part of "the natural world"?
Quote:
Natural Explorer
You are a master of navigating the natural world, and you react with swift and decisive action when attacked. This grants you the following benefits:
• You ignore difficult terrain.
• You have advantage on initiative rolls.
• On your first turn during combat, you have advantage on attack rolls against creatures that have not yet acted.

In addition, you are skilled at navigating the wilderness. You gain the following benefits when traveling for an hour or more:
• Difficult terrain doesn’t slow your group’s travel.
• Your group can’t become lost except by magical means.
• Even when you are engaged in another activity while traveling (such as foraging, navigating, or tracking), you remain alert to danger.
• If you are traveling alone, you can move stealthily at a normal pace.
• When you forage, you find twice as much food as you normally would.
• While tracking other creatures, you also learn their exact number, their sizes, and how long ago they passed through the area.

Well, within the Crypt is not. When you're back in the tunnels it will be. And if you happen to find yourself in a room that is more cave than Crypt, that'll count too. This particular room doesn't. :)

I don't mind a public post! I've been missing this style of play and you guys are helping to bring me back to middle school just with more structure, better writing, and a more focused story!
Dec 9, 2016 2:31 am
Well, I'm glad it seems focused! :)

*adjusts cowboy hat and spits into fire* I played back in the olden days when there were 30 or more people to a campaign with 10 different story arcs going simultaneously. There were no dice, just our own sense of where the line was and a team of mods to hold us back if we ever jumped too far off the page. Characters didn't have stats, just designs and powers. It was pretty wild.

Basically it was an MMO with words rather than images, and most of us being somewhere in middle or high school, just ignored or hadn't noticed that most MMOs had some form of balance or RNG to the game. BZPower was pretty cool.

Ohh, yes. I've been in games like that. I would definitely say it's more focused than those, even if the freeform 'do what you want' is a lot of fun in its own way. I just tend to improvise everything, so when people say something that implies I've got a plan, it gives me a chuckle. I've probably planned more for this than a lot of my games though, but even still, most of the rooms/tunnels are generated as someone opens the door.

How is everyone doing? Finals, packing to move, work, holiday ramp up?
Dec 13, 2016 4:34 am
I've been well. Finals are done. Waiting to get my grades back. I'll be moving later this month, so yeah, doing the packing too. I imagine everyone else has just been busy, so I've been patient. It's easier to move on with the game if it's just one person being quiet, but I don't exactly know who or how many are busy at the moment, so I figured it best to just wait. :P

Things are going well, thanks! Settling into my new job, and been working on getting back into school. How about yourself?

I'm still here, I honestly just have no idea what my character would do or say right at this moment. Haha. Kinda waiting on seeing what's behind that door Pyrrah's at.

Sorry guys. I'm smack in the middle of exams and don't really have time to maintain my character this week. If you end up waiting on me, can our lovely DM make the call? There honestly isn't much you could do to mess up my character over a few days! I'll be back as usual next week!

As you can imagine, the holidays are an insane time for a pastry chef. But the boss has time to play while the elves work hehe! Devanis is going last, and I already rolled Acrobatics. :-)

No worries! Thanks for the update. I hope your tests go well. We'll continue on until you get back!

Haha, glad that you're getting good business. Got any new pictures for us?
