Just got home from a 14 hour day where if something could go wrong it did. I'll be posting tomorrow evening after I work my other job in 8 hours. Having heard a couple of your life events recently. I know to be very thankful for that much time.

That said, Baric is good to follow the group until I post again!

So I know I've been mostly keeping up with the 1 post/day thing, but I might be a little iffy this week. Can't remember if I've said anything, but I started my master's program and the past few weeks have had me swamped in essays, readings and projects, and it gets even worse until about Thursday. Just wanted to give a heads up! Thanks for the patience!

Huh. I did base Devanis on the Revised Ranger, but somehow missed the conclaves in that document and instead took Deep Stalker from the older, Underdark document. Will edit my character sheet. Thanks!

Np, Jabes. I should've noticed that. I think being (effectively) invisible to Darkvision is better in some instances.

Also, because this is Devanis' first time acting in the combat, I would say that it's his first turn, so you can make two attacks if you'd like. But they are still at long range for a hand crossbow, so it'd be disadvantage.

Wait. Didn't we level up to 4? I don't think I ever did that... I'll level that up

Okay. I leveled to 4. The only changes I needed to make were HP +5 and the ability score improvement of +2 which I added to Wis.

This was the week from the underdark for my wife and me, multiple boughts of a few different sicknesses for the pair of us. I've been trying to keep up but won't be able to read the last story page to catch up before the NyQuil kicks in. I do have all tomorrow off so will be at an appropriate amount of not-miserable and having free time.

For now, Baric will be joining and following in the Background if thats relevant at all, using vicious Mockery on enemies that everyone else is attacking. I will catch up again in the morning! I'm quite enjoying this odd twist and sudden surprises!
