Y'know, thinking about how long each group has been down here, Evendur has been trapped in the Underworld for several days longer than the expedition group has been spelunking. Didn't think of that. Funny how that works out.

Amazing that we have been playing since October (!!!!!) and
1) we've had three(?) long rests... Anyone keeping track?
2) I can't say anything bad about the pace. It's been great.

Yes, let me just say thank you! You guys have been spectacular players. I was just saying to one of you that I feel particularly lucky that, for my first experience running a PbP game, or running a game on GP, that I got such a quality group of people right off the bat. I know I can get busy sometimes, and some posts are more intricate and meaningful than others can be, but I hope everyone has been having a good time.

As always (and so that Vyrewolf is aware), if you have any questions, concerns, etc., or any way that I could make the game a better experience for you and others, please don't hesitate to send a PM or note.

Just a quick question, in the new thread, you mentioned Erran began with introductions. Does that mean Evendur would know everyone's name? Because up to this point, the only people who's name he knows would be Neph and Flare.

He would at least introduce himself. Whether or not the others shared their names is up to them. :)

Just a check-in that I'm still here. I fell behind the posts and am working on catching up reading. Time is limited so I've been spending my few minutes of posting time to catch up on reading a few posts here and a few posts there. I'm almost caught up so will be posting again very soon.

Devanis would have introduced himself in return. So Evendur would know the old man's name by now. :-)

So, as we've jumped into a new thread, and thus a new arc, I am offering an EXP reward (given to the entire group) for each person that does the following:

Send me a PM that details your short term and long term goals for your character. What do you want them to experience? Where do you see them in a few levels? How have they changed throughout the course of the game, if at all (a bit of a difficult one for Evendur, I would imagine :P )? What are your plans for leveling (multiclass, class decisions, etc.)?

I'd like to have a peek at your character's state of mind, as well as each of your opinions on your own PC and where you would like to see them going.

For every person that does this, I'll award a bit of EXP as I calculate this most recent amount (for your long rest).

Hey guys! Just as a heads up, I'm beginning to get into my student teaching for my grad program, which is something that is both a ton of work and something that I'm particularly very nervous about. Needless to say, it's taken a lot of my creative energies, and it's only going to get worse for the next 11 months or so. I will update as often as possible, and attempt to warn you if I will be unable to do so, for one reason or another. Just in case I'm not able to do even that, however, don't fear, I will get to it as soon as possible. I'm not seeing any immediate issues, or anything, but I just wanted to give everyone some forewarning, just in case.

Of course, I could be overestimating it, but chances are that I'm not. In either case, thanks for the patience, as always!

No worries if you need to slow down the pace to attend to your other obligations. :-)

Thanks Jabes :) At the moment, things are good. I'll be beginning my observations in a month and a half, or so. In the meantime I've got a lot of lesson plans to make. At the start of next year I'll be student teaching full-time, and then I have a thesis to write in the summer.

So things will pick up, but at the moment it's all manageable. I'll keep you informed if/when changes need to be made.
