Nikcollini says:
OOC:
Can I use my natural even hit ability to interrupt the guy who attacked me?
OOC:
Yes. Can you roll for that damage for me.
Nov 10, 2016 5:45 pm
OOC:
Sure Thanks!
As one attempts to swing and hit Milo with his mace, the monk juts his staff out, mid-jump, and thrust it into his face!

Rolls

INterrupt! - (1d6+3)

(4) + 3 = 7

Nov 11, 2016 1:39 pm
The Thug crashes to the ground, mortally wounded.
OOC:
Knife-eye up next with only Thug 4 and Archer 2 still alive. Thug 4 is engaged and Archer 2 is nearby. Archer 2 is looking back in the direction of the forest.
Nov 12, 2016 7:22 am
Jack's eyes widen slightly as the archer manages to land a sword strike on Ygne, and Jack lifts the dagger hand above his head and brings it down against the archer's back, aiming for the base of the neck. If nothing else, his aim is to keep the bastard from taking off.
OOC:
Using 'Sure Cut' on the Archer. On miss, Jack deals sneak attack damage+1.

Rolls

Dagger Strike vs Archer #1 - (1d20+7)

(15) + 7 = 22

Damage if Hit: - (1d8+4)

(4) + 4 = 8

Sneak Attack Damage: - (1d4)

(2) = 2

Nov 12, 2016 11:48 pm
The Archer crumples under the force of the onslaught from Knife-eye. Immediately the remaining thug throws his weapon to the ground and states boldly "Now come on fellas. Let's not be hasty. Violence never solved anything."
Nov 13, 2016 3:17 am
Robon immediately moves to restrain him.
OOC:
If you'll let me add a background bonus for bodyguard then that 17 goes up.
OOC:
He's exhausted from battle and compliant through fear. The 17 is enough and he's no restrained.
"We didn't want to fight you. Only robs you we did."

Rolls

Grab - (1d20+4)

(13) + 4 = 17

Nov 14, 2016 10:18 pm
OOC:
He's now restrained.
The bandit looks at Robon with fear.
"You like Marsh Drakes? I'll show you where there are another 15 of the buggers."
Nov 14, 2016 10:23 pm
Ygne steps up, and pokes lightly at the bandit with the point of her spear, "Or another fifteen of your friends waitin' to ambush us. He should be taught the same lesson as the others about why you don't try to steal from me."
Nov 14, 2016 10:57 pm
Milo puts his fist into the palm of his other hand and bows slightly to the dead bandits. "Bare us no ill will." He says to the fallen men. Then he walks over to those in his party, "Is anyone injured? It was quite a scuffle." He smiles weakly at Robon. "I'm afraid any damage you suffer is likely outside of my know-how."
Nov 15, 2016 7:40 pm
OOC:
Hit point summary:
Ygne 19/24
Milo 13/21
Robon 14/30
Mekrien 52/72
Nov 15, 2016 10:22 pm
Milo checks each person in turn, and uses first aid on whatever wound he can. He wraps cuts, binds strains, and cleans wounds. All save for Robon as he is no mechanic. Once everyone has been seen to, he sees to his own injuries.
"Careful now, stop dancing around." He eases at Ygne.
He is attentive to his work, and does his best to help his allies.
OOC:
If this doesn't mechanically help then that is fine, I'll so it all the same for RP reasons.

Rolls

Ygne - (1d20+6)

(8) + 6 = 14

Mekrein - (1d20+6)

(13) + 6 = 19

Himself - (1d20+6)

(13) + 6 = 19

Nov 15, 2016 10:56 pm
"Get offa me!" Ygne shouts when Milo attempts to help her injuries, hopping back and away from him, "I'll dance as much as I like."

She grunts and points at their captive with her spear, "Quick, lets kill this one and move on."
Nov 15, 2016 11:22 pm
OOC:
Ygne and Milo up to full hit points. Mekrien is one short of max.
Nov 16, 2016 5:45 pm
"15 more marsh-drakes. Enticing. Almost as much as handing you over to the authorities," says Robon flatly. "I vote to bring him with us until we get to town. Killing him might end the threat, but it won't provide us with any information, like, where did he and his cohorts come from." And with that Robon momentarily moves so as to block whatever lethal strikes Ynge might be lining up.
Nov 16, 2016 5:49 pm
"Uugghh," Ygne groans, "But why do we care? He robbed us! He and his cohordes could just be all dead and we leave it at that." She holds her arms out to the side, "And no one would care! 'Sides, we've already got one job to do."
Nov 16, 2016 6:22 pm
Milo shakes his head at Ygne, but does not give his voice to the matter.
Nov 16, 2016 10:14 pm
OOC:
Decide amongst yourselves whether you are killing the thug and moving on or if you are questioning him.
Nov 17, 2016 4:03 am
OOC:
How about we do a sort of persuasion roll against each other? caledonaman, if this is ok with everyone, what would you like us to roll?
Nov 17, 2016 4:33 am
"Bah," Ygne scoffs, walking away from the man, "Do as you want, but anything goes wrong and it's on you."
OOC:
No problem, Ygne can relent for the sake of expediency. :)

OOC:
How about everyone for each side rolls a d20 and adds their charisma modifier. Just list the roll as either 'Kill' or 'Question'. I'll then tally the totals up. Ideally this sort of situation is very easily sorted at a real tabletop because the discussion flows more easily. I just wanted to save us days of skirting around the issue with unclear posts which didn't suggest a party strategy for dealing with the prisoner. In my RL group the bard would already have cut his throat, thus removing the need for discussion :D
