First time I play high lvl sorcerer and I did enjoy it. Combat was good.
One thing I could have liked - when narrating this one - make sure players understand enemy is still not dead, but regaining it's health slowly instead. That would add some tension and intrigue
P.S. @runekyndig could you share what was the idea behind forcefield of energy around the enemy? It felt like owlbear summoned that protection. Did owlbear intentionally left it exposed to anyone who knows how the stars are aligned in the skies? Was it a natural phenomena instead of owlbear's controlled one? A coincidence?
And why did the owlbear decided to make his lair in this plane of existence. He should have know he will be destroyed sooner or later, because that what humans do
[ +- ] Investigation
... huh that's my fault. I guess you know me. I'm too focused on 5e RAW where most of spells target creature and can't target a feather. My brain also fail to agree that creature magical features would be retained in cut off pieces of that creature. I believe it was said that if invisible character drop piece of equipment that piece becomes visible, for example
I failed to enjoy investigation, but I can only blame my mindset, not the game content. It's simply a pity
