Party reacts quickly and attack figures that are magically moving flesh and armor, though some attacks jumps off the heavy armor most of them reach the flesh. cutting pieces off. Acid eat some more flesh, but creatures keep attacking. One slams Vesuvius and another one slams Tante Lude with each of it's fists. Tante Lude manage to avoid both attacks reaching her and they bump into her armor, but Vesuvios isn't as lucky - fist hits his shoulder and metal chain around the fist does extra damage

Tante Lude does not know how powerful these chained monstrosities but they seemed to be pure fighters and she has confidence that they can be taken if she can stay alive long enough. She chants another spell, summoning guardians to fight along with her and protect her companions (exempting them from the spell) and her spiritual weapon strikes down at the thing again.

The chain goes from one creature to another but not anchors anywhere. You can imagine if one of the two creatures would move the other would need to move along, but together they could pursue.
One of Criella's attacks jumps off the metal armor just as Witch Bolt does. Other attacks hit the target. Criella realize however that here mundane weapons has no effect on the creature.

it's immune to non magical weapons damage, sorry to forget to inform you about it last round, but a round is just 6 seconds and it wouldn't be wrong your PC were too busy swinging the weapon to notice.
And the creatures keep mindlessly attacking the same targets, this time Versivius manage to avoid attacks, but one slam painfully hits Tatne Lude

So, she cast magic upon Cornus, Jewel handle silver scimitar giving it a +1 magical nature. She does this as she continues to viciously attack the undead. She has multiply encountered this immunity situation before, and she has her correcting solution.

Whang! Even through the protection of her Twilight Sanctuary, Tante Lude felt that attack (19 damage from 15 temporary hit points = 4 damage).

As it appears that normal weapons aren't striking through the monstrous armor, Tante Lude switches up. Her guardians are still active and her spiritual hammer still swinging, but to those, she adds a blast of Radiance directed at the thing.

I believe you need to do a DC 10 con save to keep concentration of Spirit Guardians. Advantage from war caster and +5 from paladin aura will make it almost impossible to fail, but still - let's do the roll.

Thanks, forgot spirit guardians was concentration. I missed the Paladin Aura from Vitorius, despite just having read it but successful.

Every one can remember that they have 1d6+10 (14 this round) temporary hit points too.

Sorry, don't have much time for combat cinematic narration. Enemy AC is 17 and the only passed save weas dex save against Sacred Flame. Besides I'm going to kill your NPC without rolling a dice, let's assume it was two nat 20s. You have a real PC replacement joining you soon
As you keep attacking creatures you could feel some strange magic sparkling between them through the chains connecting. What would that mean? Although miss once Criella feel that using magically enchanted weapon was a good idea - now she is able to do harm to creature.

I'd allow to waste action to roll Arcana check, but guess you don't want to waste action on that
And they keep attacking. Tante Lude manage to parry attacks, but Vesuvius isn't as successful. He is stunned by one attack for a moment and then creature puts his chain around Vesuvius' head and pull it so heavy that the head is smashed. Vesuvius' body falls on the ground

She redoubles her full attention to the killer undead wishing to utterly destroy it before she receives the headless similar treatment. She does glance over at that deadly connecting chain to see how terribly strong it looks verses cleanly slicing it in two separate pieces to greatly prevent a similar beheading. Like to her. Beheading would certainly ruin her look.
